摘要： An apparatus and a method for processing a character file of a wireless terminal having a character agent function are provided. The apparatus comprises a character memory for storing a character structure and character images. The character structure comprises a character type and character image information. The character image comprises at least one frame image. A controller performs the character agent function by processing character structure data and character image data stored in the character memory through analyzing a state of the wireless terminal. A display section displays the character structure and image information output from the controller.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for driving a plasma display panel in which signal distortion can be minimized while reducing contour noise. According to the present invention, the method of driving the plasma display panel includes the steps of performing a first inverse gamma correction operation on externally inputted video data, performing a confined error diffusion operation on the first inverse gamma corrected video data within a range of a dither mask pattern of an upper gray scale, dithering the confined error diffused video data by using a plurality of dither mask patterns which are separated every gray scale and every frame, performing a second inverse gamma correction operation on the dithered video data, and mapping the second inverse gamma corrected video data to a sub-field pattern in which one frame includes one or more selective writing sub-fields and one or more selective erasing sub-fields.

摘要： An oxide thin film transistor (TFT) and a fabrication method thereof are provided. First and second data wirings are made of different metal materials, and an active layer is formed on the first data wiring to implement a short channel, thus enhancing performance of the TFT. The first data wiring in contact with the active layer is made of a metal material having excellent contact characteristics and the other remaining second data wiring is made of a metal material having excellent conductivity, so as to be utilized to a large-scale oxide TFT process. Also, the first and second data wirings may be formed together by using half-tone exposure, simplifying the process.

According to the present invention, since a lens barrel is not used and a focus adjusting process is not performed, the process simplification and automation process can be achieved, thereby saving a manufacturing cost and obtaining uniform focus quality. Further, it is possible to prevent an image defect from being generated by foreign substances, thereby improving a yield.

The wireless terminal can be switched to the video mute mode if a user selects the video mute mode during normal video communication mode, thereby enabling video data preselected by the user to be presented on the terminal's display and transmitted to a distant party. The terminal can also display and transmit preselected video data if no video data is received from a distant party within a given time.
