    摘要: An upper tier terminal is provided with a fitting portion and a board attachment portion. When the upper tier terminal is being fabricated, a first wire member which is a component of the fitting portion and a second wire member which is a component of the board attachment portion, whole peripheral surfaces of which have been subjected to a plating treatment beforehand, are employed. End portions of the first wire member and the second wire member are mutually superposed, and the first wire member and the second wire member are joined. Thus, the fitting portion is formed and the board attachment portion is formed. Hence, a surface of the upper tier terminal is structured by a plating layer at the peripheral surface of the first wire member and a plating layer at the peripheral surface of the second wire member. Consequently, a post-plating treatment can be rendered unnecessary.

    摘要: A female terminal, into which a male terminal is inserted and connected, is formed in a shape of a substantially square tube. Respective one portions, in an axial direction and between corner portions, of a ceiling wall, a floor wall, and a pair of left and right side walls, which are four wall portions, are plate spring portions which contact the male terminal while elastically deforming independently of one another. Because the wall portions themselves structure the plate spring portions, there is no need to provide a plate spring within a tube wall, and the female terminal can be made compact. Further, contact pressure is ensured because the respective plate spring portions contact the male terminal from different directions.

    摘要: A waterproof connector has a housing formed with holding portions capable of holding terminal fittings, and formed at one end with a fitting hole into which electric wires connected to the held terminal fittings are inserted; a waterproof plug having first electric wire insertion holes corresponding to the holding portions and fitted into the fitting hole; and a holder having a body portion preventing the waterproof plug from detaching from the housing and provided on the opposite side of the waterproof plug to the terminal fittings. The body portion of the holder is formed with second electric wire insertion holes into which the electric wires inserted into the first electric wire insertion holes are inserted. Further, the body portion is formed integrally with fitting protrusions that fit into the unused first electric wire insertion holes, thereby preventing drops of water from entering the housing through the unused first electric wire insertion holes.

    摘要: A connector enables a size reduction while maintaining a function of reliably preventing terminal members from falling out of terminal holes. In this connector, a plate spring piece is provided in a terminal hole of a connector housing, with a length thereof set to an axial direction of the terminal hole, and an engaging pawl protrudes from the plate spring piece. When a female terminal is inserted into the terminal hole, the engaging pawl engages with the female terminal and bends the plate spring piece downward, enabling the insertion. When the female terminal is inserted to a predetermined depth in the terminal hole, the plate spring piece returns and the engaging pawl moves into an engaging hole of the female terminal. The plate spring piece has a structure of which one length direction end portion and one side portion, along the length direction, are fixed to the connector housing.

    摘要: A connector housing (1) of a connector (1) is constituted by a lower housing (7), which is mounted on a printed circuit board (2), and an upper housing (8) connected to the lower housing (7) in such a manner as to be able to perform shifting movement with respect the housing (7). Further, terminals (6) are provided in such a way as to penetrate through a partitioning wall portion (8a) of the upper housing (8) and through a connecting block portion (7b) of the lower housing (7). At that time, tapered holes (7d) are provided in the connecting block portion (7b). The terminals (6) are maintained in a state in which a bending deformation thereof caused by the shifting movement of the upper housing (8) is allowed. Consequently, when the connector (1) is connected to the mating connector (3), the connectors (1, 3) can be connected to each other by performing the shifting movement of the upper housing (8) thereby to concurrently absorb the positional displacement therebetween. Moreover, occurrences of problems, such as breakage and bend of the terminals (6) at that time, are prevented.

Thanks to this structure, by switchingly moving the inner housing (8) in the right and left direction, circuit switching can be achieved.

In a configuration where light receiving elements in the light receiving unit output N-points light and dark signals (N is an integer of 3 or more), and where phases of the N-points light and dark signals are detected by a least-squares method to fit a sinusoidal function with fixed period to N-points digital signals digitized from the N-points light and dark signals, an N-points light and dark signal period P is set at an integral multiple of a data-point interval w of the N-points digital signals, and an overall length M of the light receiving elements is set at an integral multiple of the N-points light and dark signal period P. Thereby, position detecting errors occurring due to a stain of the scale and/or a defect in the grating can be reduced by simple computing.
