摘要: An automatic transmission control apparatus has a vehicle speed detector, an accelerator pedal operation detector, a brake pedal operation detector, a clutch hydraulic servo that is neutral-controlled, a brake hydraulic servo that is hill holding-controlled, and a control device for controlling the fluid pressure supplied to the two servos. The control device selectively changes the start timing of the fluid pressure supply control. If it is determined that the vehicle is stopped and that the vehicle is not on an uphill, the control device causes a pressure reducing device and a pressure supplying device to simultaneously start reducing the fluid pressure supply to the clutch servo and supplying fluid pressure to the brake servo, respectively. If it is determined that the vehicle is on an uphill, the control device causes the pressure supplying device to start supplying fluid pressure to the brake servo and, after a predetermined time period, causes the pressure reducing device to start reducing the fluid pressure supply to the clutch servo.

摘要: A control system for an automatic transmission, having a fluid transmission unit for transmitting the rotation of an engine to a speed change unit. The control system includes a clutch which is applied responsive to selection of forward running range; a one-way clutch which is locked, when the clutch is applied, to establish a forward first speed; a brake for locking the one-way clutch, to block reverse rotation of the output shaft of the speed change unit. First and second hydraulic servos apply, respectively, the clutch and the brake responsive to receipt of oil pressures. A control unit controls the oil pressures fed to the first and second hydraulic servos. The control unit starts the feed of oil pressure to the second hydraulic servo responsive to selection of a forward running range, provided the vehicle is substantially stopped, the engine is idling and the foot brake is engaged. The control unit starts the reduction of the pressure of the first hydraulic servo upon expiration of a set time period and starts transition of the clutch from the applied state to the slipping state of the clutch upon completion of the piston stroke of the second hydraulic servo which applies the brake.

摘要: The invention provides a control apparatus for an automatic transmission for carrying out neutral control and hill-hold control in a range that causes no slip of a hill-hold brake. The control apparatus has a judgment unit for determining, in accordance with a signal output by a gradient detector whether an uphill road is steep enough to cause a hill-hold brake to slip with the hill-hold brake engaged, a hydraulic pressure reducing device for reducing the hydraulic pressure applied to a hydraulic servo of a clutch in order to place the clutch in an all but released state, a hydraulic pressure applying device for applying a hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic servo of a brake in order to engage the brake, and an execution unit for permitting the hydraulic pressure reducing device to reduce the hydraulic pressure applied to the hydraulic servo and the hydraulic pressure applying device to apply a hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic servo only if a stop, or halted, state is detected by a stop-state detector and an uphill road is determined by the judgement unit not to be steep enough to cause the hill-hold brake to slip.

摘要: The automatic transmission equipped with the control system of this invention is combined with a coupling for transmitting the rotation of the engine to the transmission and includes: a clutch which is applied when a forward running range is selected; a hydraulic servo which receives an oil pressure for applying the clutch; and a hydraulic control unit for controlling the oil pressure to the hydraulic servo. The hydraulic control unit includes: a manual valve which, when moved to a forward drive position by the operation of a shift lever, receives oil pressure from an oil pressure source, and supplies that oil pressure as a forward range oil pressure in a first oil passage; a regulator valve for regulating the oil pressure coming from the oil pressure source to thereby generate a regulated oil pressure in a second oil passage; a change-over valve switchable between (1) a first position for supplying the forward range oil pressure to a third oil passage and (2) a second position for supplying the regulated oil pressure to the third oil passage; a fourth oil passage for feeding the regulated oil pressure to the hydraulic servo while bypassing the change-over valve; and a one-way valve arranged in the fourth oil passage for allowing oil flow only in the direction from the regulator valve to the hydraulic servo.

摘要: An automatic transmission control apparatus has first and second hydraulic servos for engaging forward and reverse driving friction engaging elements, respectively, a fluid pressure control unit, a range shift detector, and an electronic control unit. When the forward driving range is selected, the fluid pressure control unit supplies a forward driving range pressure to the hydraulic servo via a changeover valve operated by a signal pressure from a normal open-type solenoid valve, when the signal pressure is drained. When the reverse driving range is selected, the electronic control unit outputs a signal to magnetize the solenoid valve. The solenoid valve is thus turned on to discontinue the drain. The control apparatus thus prevents low pressure in the reverse driving range pressure to prevent delay of engagement of the clutch.

摘要: A control system for an automatic transmission includes a clutch adapted to be applied when a forward running range is selected, for transmitting the rotation of an engine to a speed change unit. A hydraulic servo applies the clutch responsive to feed of an oil pressure and a control unit controls the oil pressure fed to the hydraulic servo. The control unit brings the clutch into a substantially released state by lowering the oil pressure of the hydraulic servo if the stop state of a vehicle is detected by a stop state detector and applies the clutch if the stop state of the vehicle is not detected with the clutch released. The oil pressure fed to the hydraulic servo is raised according to a second mode when the accelerator pedal is depressed, in preference to a first mode in which a brake pedal is released, if the accelerator pedal is depressed when the stop state of the vehicle is not detected because the accelerator pedal is released so that the engagement of the clutch has not started.

An automatic transmission incorporates a planetary gear transmission mechanism using selective engagement of at least five engagement elements to realize six gear ratios, and a hydraulic-pressure control apparatus for controlling the engagement elements of the transmission mechanism. Valves are provided which inhibit combinations of engagement of two or more engagement elements of the five engagement elements for interlocking the transmission mechanism.

摘要: A multi-stage automatic transmission using a reduction planetary gear and a planetary gear set in which the respective thrust forces generated thereat are supported by a low bearing load or a low case load. The automatic transmission is provided with a reduction planetary gear, coupled to an input shaft to fix a reaction force element so as to output a reduction rotation to an output element, and a planetary gear set, that outputs a speed shift rotation upon input of the subsequent reduction rotation. During at least first gear driving, there is provided a force transmission route in which thrust forces generated at one element of the reduction planetary gear and one element of the planetary gear set, respectively, are transmitted. In that route, a torsion direction of the helical teeth of the respective elements are set such that a direction of a thrust force of the element and a direction of the thrust force of the other element are different from each other during first gear driving.
