Abstract:
Aminothiazole compounds with N-containing cycloalkyl at the 2-amino position which are represented by the Formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable prodrug of said compound, pharmaceutically active metabolite or pharmaceutically acceptable salt of said compound, or metabolite thereof, modulate and/or inhibit the cell proliferation and activity of protein kinases. The invention is also directed to the therapeutic or prophylactic use of pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds, and to methods of treating malignancies and other disorders by administering effective amounts of such compounds.
Abstract:
Aminothiazole compounds with mono-/di-substituted benzamide are represented by the Formula (I), and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, pharmaceutically acceptable prodrugs, pharmaceutically active metabolites, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts of said metabolites are described. These agents modulate and/or inhibit the cell proliferation and activity of protein kinases and are useful as pharmaceuticals for treating malignancies and other disorders.
Abstract:
A titania-coated honeycomb catalyst matrix is provided for the ultraviolet-photocatalytic oxidation of organic pollutants in a flowing fluid. A honeycomb-shaped skeletal structure (12) has a thin, lightweight substrate (18) of metal or ceramic, typically an aluminum alloy, and a surface coating (20) of photocatalyst, such as titania. The photocatalyst (20) is bonded to the substrate (18) via a thin oxide layer (18′) on the substrate. The oxide layer (18′) may be grown on the substrate. The photocatalyst coating (20) is made by mixing (30) titania powder in a TiO2 sol-gel to form a titania slurry. The substrate with oxide layer is coated (30) with the titania slurry and then heat treated (31). The photocatalyst coating (20) is typically applied to substrate sheets (40, 60, 62) preformed for assembly into a honeycomb-shaped skeletal structure (12) having an array of parallel cells (46, 46′). The coated sheets (40) may have troughs (42) and crests (42), and be stacked (34) with intermediate parting sheets (48). Alternatively, the coated sheets (60, 62) may be notched (64) and interfitted in “eggcrate” fashion. The honeycomb-shaped structure (12) is housed in a frame (50), and one or more stabilizer members (52) fastened to the frame serve to limit displacement of the structure as may be caused by the flowing fluid (14).
Abstract:
A method of treating a concrete or other non-metallic surface contaminated with embedded radionuclides to reduce the total level of radioactivity in a concrete or other hydraulically bonded material body is described. The method comprises the steps of producing relative mutual movement between the surface to be removed and a laser heat source such that a layer adjacent the surface is caused to be detached from said concrete body. The surface may be detached as a vapour, in flakes or as a sheet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a data erasable method of memory in smart cards and smart cards thereof, which includes: when a CPU in the smart card determines a data erasable operation will be proceed in the specified memory of the smart card, cache the data to be written in a random memory cache of the specified memory; after sending a data erasable signal to the specified memory, control itself to enter a standby sleep mode. The data erasable signal is used to indicate the specified memory to process the data erasable operation by obtaining the data to be written from the random memory cache. Using the provided solution, the current of the machine card interface can be reduced when a data erasable is proceed in the specified memory of the smart card, thus abnormal conditions due to the high current of the machine card interface are avoided, and the power consumption is reduced at the same time, the standby time of the device which the smart card is in is improved.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the invention discloses a kind of electrophoretic ink comprising an electrophoretic display solution which is an electrorheological fluid comprising a base solution, solid particles and an additive, wherein the solid particles account for 5%-50% of the electrorheological fluid by mass-volume percentage. The electrophoretic display solution is preferably a negative electrorheological fluid. The invention also discloses an electronic paper comprising the electrophoretic ink and a display method for the electronic paper.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method and apparatus for controlling an optical network unit to restart upon completion of downloading new software. Upon completion of downloading a new software version, an optical network terminal firstly determines a type of an active image request to be transmitted based upon stored values, of a RstDelayTimeRange attribute and of a RstDelayTrafficThreshold attribute, corresponding to the optical network unit, and then transmits the active image request to the optical network unit. The determined active image request may be a first active image request to instruct the optical network unit to immediately restart and activate the new software version that has been downloaded, or may be a second active image request to instruct the optical network unit to set an activation flag and a third active image request to instruct the optical network unit to immediately restart, both of which are used in combination.
Abstract:
Composition containing iridoids such as morroniside and loganin, the use thereof in preparing medicaments for preventing and treating neurologic demyelinating diseases, and the method thereof in treating diseases related to neurologic demyelinating lesions are disclosed by the present application.
Abstract:
A crude oil which contains at least 0.1 wt % unstable sulfur compounds is treated in a reaction zone at low temperature to convert at least 50 wt % of the unstable sulfur compounds contained therein. The reaction and removal of sulfur from the crude may be facilitated by contacting the crude oil with a catalytic material in the presence of a stripping fluid.
Abstract:
A method, system and controlling bridge (CB) for acquiring port extension (PE) topology information, and a method and system for processing an upstream port, wherein, the method for acquiring the port extension (PE) topology information includes: a CB receiving a link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) message sent by the PE, and perceiving an attachment of the PE; the CB receiving Extended Port Create message sent by the PE, and instantiating corresponding instantiated ports inside the CB. By adopting the above-mentioned technical scheme, the topology information of the PE connected to the CB can be obtained and a channel for forwarding data can be established, effectively.
