    摘要: An ultrasonic probe includes ultrasonic piezoelectric elements that are arranged in a first direction at predetermined intervals and transmit and receive ultrasonic waves in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction. The respective ultrasonic piezoelectric elements have plural grooves, which are parallel to the first direction and do not pierce through an end face, on at least one end face of two end faces substantially orthogonal to the second direction of the respective ultrasonic piezoelectric elements. The ultrasonic waves are weighted in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction according to shapes and arrangement of the respective plural grooves and transmitted and received. In addition, a conductive member is joined to the end face having the grooves of the respective ultrasonic piezoelectric elements along the third direction.

This invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing lactoferrin as an active ingredient.     摘要: The present invention relates to a construction of an explosion-proof safety vent for small-size non-aqueous electrolyte batteries such as prismatic lithium-ion secondary batteries or with an oval cross section hence with a small area of seal plate, and to a method of producing a seal plate. It aims at securing safety of a battery by allowing an explosion-proof vent to operate without fail with a simple construction at no sacrifice of the capacity. In order to fulfill this aim, it provides an explosion-proof safety vent wherein upper peripheral edge of an opening of a bottomed cell container made of metal and the periphery of a seal plate made of metal are hermetically sealed by laser welding, a rivet serving as a terminal is inserted in a through hole provided on the central portion of the seal plate and hermetically fixed by crimping via a gasket, an exhaust hole is provided between the terminal and the periphery of the seal plate, and the exhaust hole is closed by a metal foil. With such a simple structure, it allows the vent to operate without fail to prevent accident and also proposes a method of continuously producing seal plates in the form of a hoop.

    摘要: A television signal receiving apparatus which can read program information relevant to a television program from an optical disk medium, interlocked with the television program and can reproduce and display the read program information.     摘要: Digitally-compressed audio and image data of a plurality of programs (logical channels) are distributed and superimposed for every horizontal synchronizing signal period together with identification information of each of the programs in place of a luminance signal of an analog video signal of each of physical channels. Each of the physical channels is superimposed in its frequency and distributed from a signal transmission facility of a broadcasting station. At the receiving side, a desired physical analog channel is tuned and the compressed digital audio and image data superimposed on the tuned video signal are selected and taken as desired logical channel data in reference to program identification information, and the compressed digital audio and image data are decoded to obtain their original audio and moving images. With such an arrangement as above, in an existing CATV system, a mere insertion of an encoder unit into a transmission side and a decoder unit into a receiving side, without improving a characteristic of an analog video signal distribution system such as a cable or the like, respectively, enables a greater number of programs to be supplied correspondingly by the amount of digital compression.
