    摘要： A method of treating a solid matrix containing organic contaminants is provided. The method comprises the steps of a) injecting ozone into the solid matrix for a period of time known as the pulse duration; b) interrupting the injection of ozone into the solid matrix for a period of time known as the gap duration; and c) repeating step a) at least one additional time. Gap durations of from about 2 hours to about 48 hours are disclosed. Pulse durations of from about 0.25 hours to about 8 hours are also disclosed. Recalcitrant organic contaminants are treated.

    摘要： A method for controlling the execution of a microprocessor to cause it to execute a NOP instruction for a programmable number of sequential cycles. A NOP instruction is provided, that includes a predetermined OP code field identifying the NOP instruction as a programmably multiple NOP instruction. A predetermined count field is provided, representing the number of sequential cycles in which a NOP operation is to be performed by said microprocessor. The NOP instruction OP code field is read, as is the NOP instruction count field. In response thereto, a NOP operation is performed for the number of sequential cycles represented by said NOP instruction count field.

    摘要： A data processing system with a microprocessor. The microprocessor has an instruction execution pipeline including fetch and decode stages and several functional execution units. Fetch packets contain a plurality of instruction words. Execute packets include a plurality of instruction words that can be executed in parallel by two or more execution units. An execution packet can span two or more fetch packets. A predetermined bit in each instruction marks whether the next instruction is executed in parallel with the current instruction. Instructions in an execute packet are dispatched to appropriate functional execution units based on instruction type. Upon a branch into an execute packet instructions at memory addresses before the branch location are not executed in parallel with instructions following the branch location.

A four way bridge rectifier circuit has a voltage steering circuit for producing a DC output voltage of known polarity located in the body.     摘要： The travel range is extended for electrostatically actuated micro mirrors used as attenuators, modulators and switches in optical networks by the use of dielectrically coated, preferably with Silicon dioxide, inner surfaces. Oxide charge and oxide capacitance combine to expand the travel range of the mirrors before snap down, at the expense of increased applied bias voltage. This method of travel range extension is preferred over other range extension methods due to its simplicity, reproducibility, and ease of manufacture, as well as benefits of decreased stiction and inhibited electrode shorting. A method for the manufacture of the devices is also disclosed.

    摘要： A dispensing apparatus for serially dispensing flexible plastic bags from a wound package of bags which are joined along perforated severance lines, including a panel, and at least one elongate dispensing slot extending through the panel. The slot includes relatively narrow and linearly aligned outer edge portions, and a laterally extending tongue positioned between the outer edge portions. Also, an opening is located on one side of the tongue. In use, the opening is used to facilitate thread-up of the initial bag through the slot, and the two outer edge portions serve to engage and hold the bag in the slot. During withdrawal, the tongue engages the central portion of the bag, and when the tongue engages the next perforated severance line, or the bottom of the cut out in the case of T-shirt bags, a significant resistance is imparted which causes the severance line to rupture, with the next bag positioned in the slot and ready to be engaged and withdrawn.
