    摘要: Provided are: an adhesive composition that is capable of providing an adhesive layer in which titanium-based nanoparticles are stably dispersed, said adhesive layer having more enhanced mechanical characteristics, excellent refractive index and excellent adhesive force; and an adhesive sheet or the like which uses the adhesive composition. An adhesive composition is prepared so as to contain: a (meth)acryl-based polymer that contains, as a monomer component, 50% by weight or more of a (meth)acrylate represented by the formula CH2═C(R1)COOR2 (wherein R1 represents hydrogen or a methyl group, and R2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms), has a weight average molecular weight of from 500,000 to 3,000,000 as determined by gel permeation chromatography, and does not substantially contain an acid component; an aromatic polymer that has a weight average molecular weight of from 200 to 900 as determined by gel permeation chromatography in an amount of 120-400 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the (meth)acrylic polymer; and titanium-based nanoparticles that has an average particle size of 5 to 100 nm in an amount of 150 to 600 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the (meth)acrylic polymer.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure sensitive adhesive composition for an optical member, which is excellent in coating property because of low viscosity, can reduce an amount of an organic solvent used, and can form a pressure sensitive adhesive layer excellent in durability and having high surface uniformity. The present invention relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive composition for an optical member, which comprises a (meth)acrylic polymer, a C6 to C9 hydrocarbon-based solvent (A), and a high-boiling highly solubilizing solvent (B) having a boiling point higher than that of the above hydrocarbon-based solvent and having a higher ability to solubilize the (meth)acrylic polymer than that of the above hydrocarbon-based solvent, wherein a content of the hydrocarbon-based solvent (A) is 20 to 60 wt % based on the total amount of the solvents, and a ratio of the content (wt %) of the hydrocarbon-based solvent (A) to the content (wt %) of the high-boiling highly solubilizing solvent (B) (high-boiling highly solubilizing solvent (B)/hydrocarbon-based solvent (A)) is 0.05 to 4.

    摘要: An ultraviolet crosslinking pressure-sensitive adhesive composition showing good pressure-sensitive adhesive characteristics is obtained by using a block copolymer of styrenic polymer component and acrylic polymer component. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is produced by conducting living radical polymerization of styrenic monomer and acrylic monomer in a proper order in the presence of a transition metal and its ligand using a polymerization initiator to obtain a block copolymer (a) wherein at least one styrenic polymer block A and at least one acrylic polymer block B are bound to each other and mixing it with a trichloromethyl group-containing triazine derivative (b) or, alternatively, to obtain a block copolymer (a) which contains carboxy precursor groups in the acrylic polymer block B, and converting the precursor groups to carboxyl groups, before or after mixing with the component (b), by heat-treating in the presence of an acid catalyst.

    摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an adhesive composition for optical applications, which is capable of suppressing luminance unevenness without deteriorating the contrast characteristics in optical applications, and which can be used for optical members and prevents the optical members from separation in a reliability test; an adhesive layer; an optical member; an image display device and the like. An adhesive composition for optical applications, which contains a modified (meth)acrylic graft polymer and an isocyanate crosslinking agent, is prepared. The modified (meth)acrylic graft polymer is obtained by graft polymerizing chains, each of which contains a cyclic ether group-containing monomer, to the trunk polymer, and contains, as constituent components, an alkyl(meth)acrylate, a cyclic ether group-containing monomer, and an acyclic ether group-containing monomer. An adhesive layer for optical applications, which is formed from the composition, an optical member, an image display device and the like are also produced.
