    摘要: This invention relates to an overhead work suspension conveyor for conveying a piece of work, for example, a tailgate to a main body in an assembly line of a vehicle main body. An object of this invention is to efficiently and surely hold plural kinds of work pieces of different configurations in a suspended position and to permit their easy loading on a work conveyance mechanism. This invention therefore provides an overhead work suspension conveyor comprising a traverser main body, plural spindles turnably supported relative to the traverser main body, plural work support members fixed at upper ends thereof on the spindles and having work supports at lower ends thereof, said work supports being turnable responsive to turning of the corresponding spindles to support a piece of work at an outer periphery thereof, and a spindle drive mechanism arranged on the traverser main body and adapted to selectively turn the spindle depending on the kind of the work piece.

    摘要: The pair of cutting blades are pin joined to each other at their terminal webs which are joined to bow handles. A ball bearing is mounted to the pivot pin by way of an antifriction spacer for providing a permanent spacing between the terminal webs in order to prevent the same from abrasion and consequent uneven wear. A clamp is coupled at one end to the pivot pin projecting from one of the terminal webs, and anchored at another end to the other terminal web, in order to bear the component of cutting resistance which tends to spread the pair of blades in opposite directions away from their parallel planes of motion.

    摘要: This invention is directed to a method and a device for positioning a body transported on a conveyer as a transporting path at a longitudinal predetermined positioned or a lateral predetermined position on the path. The method positively positions the body at a plurality of positions by way of selectively shifting and holding a longitudinal positioning member or a lateral position restricting plate, which slideably contacts with a vertical projecting wall of the body, at the longitudinal predetermined position depending on the configuration of each body, prior to the arrival of the body at either predetermined position on the path. The device comprises a structure mechanism including longitudinal positioning apparatus which enables selectively shifting and holding the longitudinal position of the body at a plurality of positions in contact with a tip reference portion of the body transported on the conveyor; lateral positioning apparatus which enables selectively shifting and holding the lateral position of the body at a plurality of left and right locations using the lateral position restricting plate slidable in contact with the vertical projecting wall of the body; and control apparatus for supplying a shifting signal to such positioning apparatuses on setting thereof, the control apparatus being implemented so that the body is selectively shifted to and controlled at either predetermined position depending on the configuration of each body.
