摘要: In one embodiment, a system may include a gas turbine system. the gas turbine system includes a gas turbine, an after-treatment system that may receive exhaust gases from the gas turbine system, and a controller that may receive inputs and model operational behavior of an industrial plant based on the inputs. The industrial plant may include the gas turbine and the after-treatment system. The controller may also determine one or more operational parameter setpoints for the industrial plant, select the one or more operational parameter setpoints that reduce an output of a cost function, and apply the one or more operational parameter setpoints to control the industrial plant.

摘要: Catalyst articles having a first zone containing a first SCR catalyst and a second zone containing an ammonia slip catalyst (ASC), where the ammonia slip catalyst contains a second SCR catalyst and an oxidation catalyst, and the ASC has DOC functionality, where the first zone is located on the inlet side of the substrate and the second zone is located in the outlet side of the substrate are disclosed. The catalytic articles are useful for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx in exhaust gases, in reducing the amount of ammonia slip and in oxidizing organic residues. Exhaust systems containing the catalyst articles and methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced and hydrocarbon are oxidized by the ASC catalyst, are also described.

摘要: An apparatus includes an engine module, an in-cylinder content module, and an engine out NOx module. The engine module is structured to interpret engine in-cylinder data regarding an operating condition within a cylinder of an engine, wherein the engine in-cylinder data includes an engine torque, an engine speed, a rail pressure, and a start-of-injection. The in-cylinder content module is structured to interpret at least one additional in-cylinder data point regarding the operating condition within the cylinder of the engine. The engine out NOx module is structured to determine an engine out NOx amount responsive to the engine in-cylinder data and the at least one additional in-cylinder data point.

摘要: In a failure diagnosis device of an emission control system that utilizes an electrode-based PM sensor to diagnose a failure of a particulate filter, some embodiments may be to suppress reduction of accuracy of diagnosis of a failure due to in-cylinder rich control. The failure diagnosis device of the emission control system performs a measurement process. The measurement process includes a sensor recovery process of removing PM depositing between the electrodes of the electrode-based PM sensor, a process of starting application of the predetermined voltage to the electrodes of the PM sensor after completion of the sensor recovery process, and a process of obtaining an output value of the PM sensor after elapse of a predetermined time period since the start of application of the predetermined voltage to the electrodes of the PM sensor.

摘要: A catalyst article having an extruded support having a plurality of channels through which exhaust gas flows during operation of an engine, and a single layer coating or a bi-layer coating on the support, where the extruded support contains a third SCR catalyst, the single layer coating and the bilayer-coating contain platinum on a support with low ammonia storage and a first SCR catalyst. The catalytic articles are useful for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx in exhaust gases and in reducing the amount of ammonia slip. Methods for producing such articles are described. Methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced, are also described.

摘要: An exhaust system for a lean-burn internal combustion engine is described, and includes an injection system for injecting reductant into an exhaust gas feedstream upstream of a selective catalytic reduction device (SCR). A control method for controlling the injection system includes determining an upstream NOx gas concentration upstream of the SCR device, determining a measured downstream NOx gas concentration based upon a signal output from a sensor configured to monitor NOx gas concentration downstream of the SCR device, and determining an estimated downstream NOx gas concentration based upon an executable model. A first correlation between the upstream NOx gas concentration and the measured downstream NOx gas concentration is determined, and a second correlation between the upstream NOx gas concentration and the estimated downstream NOx gas concentration is determined. The reductant injection is controlled based upon the first and second correlations.

An ammonia adsorption amount of the selective reduction-type NOx catalyst is estimated based on one or a plurality of prescribed parameters related to the ammonia adsorption amount and a specific ammonia adsorption amount that is an estimated value of the ammonia adsorption amount specified by at least one of a maximum value and a minimum value of an estimated value of the ammonia adsorption amount is estimated based on an error in the prescribed parameter, and when the specific ammonia adsorption amount is outside a target range of the ammonia adsorption amount, addition of an ammonia precursor or ammonia using an adding valve is controlled such that the specific ammonia adsorption amount returns to the target range.

摘要: A method for regenerating a lean NOx trap (LNT) of an exhaust purification system having the LNT and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst includes determining whether a regeneration release condition of the LNT is satisfied; determining whether a regeneration demand condition of the LNT is satisfied; and performing regeneration of the LNT if the regeneration release condition of the LNT and the regeneration demand condition of the LNT are satisfied, wherein satisfaction of the regeneration release condition of the LNT is determined based on an NOx amount absorbed in the LNT, an NH3 amount stored in the SCR catalyst and temperature at an upstream of the SCR catalyst.
