    摘要: A process for the preparation of a printed draw-formed body having a printed image on the side wall thereof by subjecting a prior-printed blank to draw-forming, which comprises converting an image of an original to be printed to a digital image element signal on a rectangular coordinate, converting the image element signal on the rectangular coordinate to an image signal or image signals on a corresponding conversion coordinate formed by developing the rectangular coordinate to an annular plane having an area substantially equal to the area of said rectangle, reading image element signals on the conversion coordinate in order of the coordinate, photo-electrically converting the read image element signals to a printing plate for the blank and printing the blank by using the formed printing plate. According to this process, since digital coordinate conversion is performed while compensating anisotropy of the elongation of the metal blank, an improved printing precision can be obtained in a draw-formed body.

    摘要: Disclosed is a thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can formed of a metal plate having an organic coating. In this can, at least the inner surface organic coating is composed of a crystalline thermoplastic resin, the thickness of the barrel wall is made smaller than the thickness of the bottom, the thermoplastic resin of the barrel wall is molecularly oriented mainly in the axial direction, and the roughness of the metal surface of the barrel wall is larger than that of the metal surface of the bottom. Since the organic coating is crystalline and is molecularly oriented, the coating can resist processing deformation when the thickness is reduced by deep-draw forming and the coating is not damaged by a tool or the like at all, and therefore, the barrier property to corrosive components and the heat resistance are prominently improved.

    摘要: A metal vessel has a metal bottomed cup-shaped lower member and a metal cup-shaped upper member, the upper and lower members being bonded together by a circumferential side seam. The upper member has a pouring mouth having a small diameter in the central portion thereof. The metal vessel is formed by lap-bonding the circumferential open ends of both the upper and lower members. The side wall of the upper member is formed by subjecting a primer-coated tin-plated steel sheet to draw forming at a side wall plastic forming ratio R of from 1.1 to 1.8; the side wall plastic forming ratio R being defined by the following formula: ##EQU1## wherein W stands for the weight (g) of the blank of the upper member, t stands for the thickness (cm) of the blank of the upper member at the side wall, .rho. stands for the density (g/cm.sup.3) of the blank of the upper member, D.sub.0 stands for the inner diameter (cm) of pouring mouth of the upper member, and D.sub.1 stands for the average inner diameter (cm) of the side wall.In the circumferential bonded portion, the side wall of the lower member is bonded to the side wall of the upper member through an organic adhesive interposed between a primer coating applied to the side wall of the lower member and a primer coating applied to the side wall of the upper member. The bonding strength and resistance to leakage of the lap-bonded circumferential side seam are improved.
