摘要： A data distributing system wherein an electronic book data storage center which is stored with a plurality of pieces of book data is capable of communicating with electronic book vending machines 2 via a communication line and/or a communication satellite. In each of the vending machines, a storage medium can be inserted. The vending machine selects a piece of book data, which may be desired by the user, based on data stored in the storage medium as data to be to recorded into the storage medium. The user himself or herself can select a piece of book data. Also, the recorded data can be deleted from the storage medium in compliance with the user's request. These vending machines may have a function of casting accounts.

The camera comprises image pickup means, recording means for recording a picture image signal obtained by the image pickup means into a record medium which may be an internal memory or a removable IC card, manually operable means, protect signal recording means operable in response to an operation of the manually operable means for recording into the record medium a protect signal representative of inhibition of erasure of a picture image signal recorded in the record medium, and controlling means for inhibiting erasure of a picture image signal at a portion of the record medium corresponding to the thus recorded protect signal.

摘要： A photographing apparatus can transfer an image to an image processing apparatus with a first recording medium. The photographing apparatus includes a discriminator which determines a state of a second recording medium for recording a photographed image, the recording medium being detachably provided to the photographing apparatus. The photographing apparatus also includes a selector which selects whether the photographed image is to be transferred to the first recording medium or to the second recording medium, based on the determined state by the discriminator, and a controller which controls a transfer of the photographed image to the recording medium selected by the selector.

摘要： An image sensing system is provided with a fluorescent lamp which performs AC lighting to irradiate an object, an inverter power source which supplies currents to the fluorescent lamp, a lighting frequency changing circuit which changes the frequency of the current supply, a lens which images an image onto a film, and a CCD image sensing device which is capable of changing the period of exposure by the formed image and which outputs the image of the object as an electric signal through photoelectric conversion. The exposure period of the CCD image sensing device is controlled by a microcomputer and a timing generator. The lighting frequency changing circuit is controlled so that the phase of the exposure period and the phase of the current supply to the fluorescent lamp are in synchronism with each other.

摘要： An apparatus for reproducing images recorded on successive frames of a film recorded with information, the apparatus includes a film feeder which feeds the film in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction; an information reader which reads the recorded information; a density detector which detects a density of each image; and a controller which controls the film feeder, information reader, and density detector. The information reader is worked when the film is fed in the first direction, the density detector is worked when the film is fed in the second direction. A detected image density is adapted for determining an exposure value at which each image is picked up to reproduce the image.

摘要： A camera system has a camera section, a reproduction section and a printer section, the printer section being separably attachable to either the camera section or the reproduction section to form an integral body. The camera system has photoelectric conversion elements and picks up an image of an object to produce image data. The reproduction section processes the image data so as to reproduce the picked-up image on a display screen, and the printer section prints the picked-up image on printing paper based on the image data. The reproduction section may include an output device which transmits the processed image data to a television set having a display screen, and it may also be integrally provided with a monitor having a display screen. The camera system further includes a recording portion electrically connected with the camera section and which records the image data. The recording portion has a first recorder which records the image data in an internal memory built in one or each of the camera section, the reproduction section and the printer section, and a second recorder which records the image data in an external memory removably mountable on one or each of the camera section, the reproduction section and the printer section.

Also, camera is capable of a self-timer photographing, and indicates the self-timer photographing by emitting the flash light during the self-timer operation. The flash light is used both as the auxiliary light for a focus detection and light for indication of the self-timer operation.
