A vacuum processing apparatus comprises a vacuum vessel in which a substrate-shaped sample is arranged in an internally arranged processing chamber in which the pressure is reduced; a transfer chamber to which the vacuum vessel is linked and through whose inside reduced in pressure the sample is transferred; a passage which establishes communication between the transfer chamber and the vacuum vessel in a state in which the transfer chamber and the processing chamber are linked to each other and through whose inside the sample not yet processed or already processed is transferred; and a covering member which is removably coupled to cover the internal wall face of the passage, wherein the sample is processed within the processing chamber with a plasma formed in the processing chamber.

A rotation angle sensing device for detecting a relative rotation angle between a rotor and a stator includes main magnets, fixed in the rotor, and hole ICs, fixed in the stator. The hole ICs detect magnetic flux of the main magnets , and the relative rotation angle therebetween is detected. A supportive magnet is disposed between the hole ICs so as to offset the magnetic flux of the main magnets. Accordingly, a rotation angle in which the magnetic flux density detected in the hole ICs becomes 0 [mT] can be changed by the supportive magnet. Therefore, a 0° position of the rotation angle can be set to the rotation angle in which the magnetic flux density is detected as 0 [mT], and moreover the detectable range of the rotation angle can be enlarged to be more than 90°.

A silicone rubber composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having a degree of polymerization of 100 or higher and having at least two silicon-bonded alkenyl groups in the molecule; (B) from 3 to 100 parts by weight of a wet silica having the following properties: specific surface area (the BET method) of 50 m2/g or larger, specific surface area (the BET method)/specific surface area (the CTAB method) of from 1.0 to 1.3, and water content of 4% or lower; and (C) an effective amount of a curing agent. The silicone rubber composition can be obtained without foaming even in hot air vulcanization and even if wet silica is used therein, and the silicone rubber composition gives a silicone rubber excellent in electrical properties such as electrical insulating properties.

The crosslinkable rubber composition of the invention is crosslinkable by hot air, and a hot-air crosslinked rubber sheet thereof has no scratch on the surface in a hardness test using a pencil of HB and has a compression set of not more than 70% after a heat treatment at 150° C. for 22 hours. The rubber composition comprises an ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene random copolymer rubber comprising a specific vinyl end group-containing norbornene compound, a SiH group-containing compound having at least two SiH groups in one molecule, and if necessary, an addition reaction catalyst comprising a platinum group element and a reaction inhibitor. The automobile weatherstrip, hose, rubber vibration insulator, belt, sealing material, expanded product, covered electric wire, electric wire joint, electric insulating part and household rubber product according to the invention comprise the above-mentioned rubber composition. The rubber composition has a high crosslinking rate and excellent productivity to produce crosslinked rubber molded products, is capable of undergoing hot-air crosslinking such as HAV or UHF and is capable of providing crosslinked rubber molded products having excellent compression set resistance, strength properties, heat resistance, weathering resistance and abrasion resistance.

This invention provides a pitch fiber bundle for carbon fibers of small size, a carbon fiber bundle, and a method for the production thereof, i.e. a method for the production of carbon fibers of a small size, a pitch fiber bundle, and a carbon fiber bundle at a lower cost with higher productivity than usual. The method for the production of pitch type carbon fibers according to this invention comprises dividing a plurality of pitch fibers into not less than two bundles, intertwining the bundles by exposure to currents of air thereby forming a first fiber bundle, binding a plurality of such first fiber bundles, and again intertwining the bound pitch fiber bundles by exposure to currents of air thereby forming a second fiber bundle.
