Abstract:
The trigger point massage apparatus includes a primary pegboard from which a trigger point massage member is selectively affixed. A pair of side members attach to opposing sides of the primary pegboard in order to form a device that is adapted to secure against a doorframe. The pair of side members optionally includes at least one locking screw that is used to tighten a pad member in order to secure the device against the doorframe. The trigger point massage member includes a plurality of pins that are selectively engaged into one of a plurality of pinholes provided on an outer surface of the primary pegboard. The trigger point massage member includes a rotatable sphere that is extended from armatures of the trigger point massage member. The rotatable sphere is adapted to be engaged against a body part in order to provide a massage thereto.
Abstract:
A stretching device that enables a user to employ the mechanical advantage of a multi-pulley system while performing various, prolonged muscle stretches; the stretching device including a first anchor assembly, a second anchor assembly, and a motion transfer line. The first motion transfer line has a first anchor body and a first motion transfer pulley; the first anchor body being attached to the user and the first motion transfer pulley being coupled to the first anchor body. Similarly, the second motion transfer line has a second anchor body and a second motion transfer pulley; the second anchor body being attached to a stationary object and the second motion transfer pulley being coupled to the second anchor body. The motion transfer line is terminally attached to the first anchor body and is trained around both the first motion transfer pulley and the second motion transfer pulley.
Abstract:
This application discloses a portable exercise device for flexibility and strengthening. In some embodiments, the device is comprised of one elastic band of surgical tubing or like material and one non-elastic band, with two pairs of looped handles tied to each end of the elastic band. These looped handles can attach to a user's limb without any need for grasping. The non-elastic end of the device can be affixed to an anchor point. The exercise device offers light but adjustable resistance via a resistance modulator, allowing the user to engage in a full range of standing and seated exercises with forces comparable to swimming. In addition, two instances of the device can be combined to engage both the user's hands and feet simultaneously.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A massager includes a holder having an opening and an insert insertable into and removable from the opening. The holder may be ball-shaped. Opposite ends of the insert may have different spherical curvatures, and the insert may have a cylindrical body. The holder may be softer than the insert. The insert may be inverted to provide an alternative surface for trigger point massaging or other applications. Alternatively, a massager may have a ball assembly in an opening of a holder, with the holder in the form of a truncated sphere. The cup may optionally have an outer surface having a curvature substantially matching the curvature of the holder. Balls or inserts may be provided on a strap loop, with the balls and inserts used in combination or individually.

Abstract:
A massage device can include a first wheel assembly, comprising: a first base; a first wheel supported at a predetermined distance from a first side of the first base; at least one first stem attached to a second side of the first base; the massage device further comprising: a body, the body having at least one socket, wherein the at least one socket is constructed and arranged to receive the at least one first stem, and wherein the body is constructed and arranged to prevent the at least one first stem from rotating within the at least one socket; and two or more arms connected to the body, wherein the two or more arms are constructed and arranged to removably mount the body onto a wall of a building.
Abstract:
A mounted massage roller comprising in one example: a mounting assembly configured to be mounted to a fixed structure; a pivot assembly attached to the mounting assembly at a hinge forming a horizontal hinge axis about which the hinge rotates; the pivot assembly rotatable about the hinge axis relative to the mounting assembly; the pivot assembly comprising at least one handle configured to be grasped by a patient to rotate the pivot assembly about the hinge; the pivot assembly at least one roller configured to roll about a roller axis parallel to the hinge axis; each roller having a radially outward surface configured to roll against the patient as the patient moves the pivot assembly about the hinge axis.
Abstract:
An apparatus for providing sectional (cervical, thoracic and/or lumbar spine as individual parts) and global spinal (full-total spinal: cervical/thoracic/lumbar simultaneous as a single part) decompression including a head harness that has: a rigid member which extends into the mouth cavity of a user; and an attachment point located substantially at the same distance from the center of the skull as the end of the rigid member; wherein the rigid member comprises a U-shaped mouth guard, the u-shaped mouth guard contacting at least the “rear most” upper set of teeth during use; the attachment point is configured to attach to an external force providing apparatus; the attachment point is configured to provide a force in the direction of the user's height via the mouth guard. The location of the attachment point provides an optimal force vector when the device is pulled away from the head in a direction parallel with the user's height for medical applications associated with decompression of the spine. For comfort, positional placement and stability, a forehead pad and cranial straps may be provided.
