Abstract:
Rotating spray systems and related methods for enhancing spray performance can include one of more rotating spray assemblies formed of a plurality of individual, linear distribution manifolds to define a rotary cage. The rotary cage is fluidly coupled to a rotating distribution block on a distribution valve, with each linear distribution manifold being fluidly coupled to one of a plurality of distribution conduits defined in the rotating distribution block. The distribution valve further includes a fixed distribution block having an arcuate aperture defined therein. The rotating distribution block rotates relative to the fixed distribution block to individually and sequentially engage each distribution conduit with the arcuate aperture. When the individual distribution conduits are fluidly engaged with the arcuate aperture, pressurized fluid supplied to the distribution valve is supplied to the corresponding linear distribution manifold for spraying by one or more spray nozzles fluidly connected to each linear distribution manifold.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a coating line and a method for applying a protective coating to hollow glass containers integrated in glass container manufacturing process. In particular it relates to a coating line and method for applying a cold end coating to hollow glass containers. More particularly the present invention relates to a coating line comprising horizontal spray guns for applying a cold end coating to hollow glass containers in a single line and such a method for applying a cold end coating to hollow glass containers.
Abstract:
An adhering amount detecting process includes: lowering the nozzle to a trial application position; performing a trial application to apply the viscous material to a trial application surface disposed on an application stage; and detecting an amount of the viscous material adhering to the nozzle. Then, whether a difference between maximum and minimum values of the amounts of the viscous material adhering to the nozzle detected by performing the adhering amount detecting process a plurality of times exceeds a threshold is determined. If the difference is determined as not exceeding the threshold, the lowered position of the nozzle with respect to the application target is set such that a gap between the nozzle at the lowered position and an application surface of an application target coincides with a gap between the nozzle at the trial application position and the trial application surface.
Abstract:
A spraying system includes a spraying device, a toasting device, a conveyor line, and a turning device. The spraying device is configured to spray a workpiece. The toasting device is configured to toast the workpiece. The conveyor line passes through the spraying device and the toasting device and is configured to convey the workpiece. The turning device is coupled to the conveyor line and includes a first fixing frame across the conveyor line, a turning mechanism, and a blocking member. The turning mechanism includes a bearing frame detachably coupled to the conveyor line, a rotation shaft rotatably coupled to the bearing frame; a rotatable member coupled to the rotation shaft; and a positioning member coupled to the rotation shaft and configured to couple the workpiece. The blocking member is coupled to the fixing frame and configured to block the rotatable member to rotate the rotation shaft, the positioning member.
Abstract:
A paint booth for plants for painting products comprising: a supporting structure (10); one or more sheets (11), which define at least one portion of internal space (12) of said booth; and means (13) for surface treatment of said products. At least one of said sheets is mobile and has an opening through which said treatment means face within said portion of internal space, said at least one mobile sheet and/or at least one of said treatment means being connected to movement means (15), which impart a reciprocating motion simultaneously on said at least one mobile sheet and on said at least one treatment means.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides apparatuses and methods for non-contact printing on comestible products. The apparatus includes an extruder for extruding a slab of an edible substrate and a non-contact printing device for printing an edible ink on the slab. The apparatus provides versatility as the printing device may be placed anywhere along the apparatus. The printing device may be positioned along the apparatus as desired to operate in cooperation with other components of the apparatus.
Abstract:
A coating device comprises a longitudinal casing having an input end and an output end at opposed ends of a longitudinal direction, a coating liquid source, spray heads positioned inside the casing in a given arrangement and connected to the coating liquid source, so as to produce a spray of the coating liquid, and conveying means in association with the longitudinal casing so as displace an article along the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal casing such that the given arrangement of the spray heads enables to coat three faces of the article with the coating liquid. A method for coating an article is also provided.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for applying coatings, such as in particular varnishes, to surfaces is provided. The apparatus includes a metering head that has at least one nozzle which can be actuated by a control signal. The method includes the steps of: moving a base having a surface that is to be coated along this surface relative to a metering head and/or moving the metering head relative to a surface of the base, and applying a fluid coating material to the surface through a nozzle in response to at least one control signal generated by a computer.
Abstract:
A spray disk (4) rotating at high speed and connected to high voltage surrounds a guide rod (30) and can be reciprocated up and down along said guide rod, the latter being of a stationary arrangement. This permits the use of drive means (34, 50) which extend along the guide rod (30) so that for the up and down motion of the spray disk (4) there are no carrier rods required which protrude beyond the stroke of the spray disk beyond the device.
Abstract:
A marking means for timber packages (1), by which on the side (3) of the timber package are imprinted with a paint spray gun (2) the data relating to the timber package and to the goods contained therein. The paint gun (2) is movable under remote control in a coordinate-controlled plane beside the timber package (1), spraying the prescribed markings on the side of the timber package.
