    Abstract: A wheel dolly for lifting and transporting a flat tire attached to an aircraft is comprised of a frame assembly having first and second laterally spaced frame members and a telescopic frame structure interposed between the laterally spaced frame members. A pair of tire lifting assemblies are fixedly coupled the frame assembly. A pair of actuators is coupled between the tire lifting assemblies to force the tire lifting assemblies toward one another in order to raise a flat tire on an aircraft. A plurality of wheels is coupled to the frame assembly to allow the frame assembly to roll in any direction.

    Abstract: In a heavy duty orbital caster assembly that includes a rotatable wheel unit joined to a transfer plate that pivots about a mounting post extending from a mounting plate adapted to be secured to the bottom surface of an object, the improvement comprising a pair of roller bearing assemblies that extend upwardly from the upper surface of the transfer plate adjacent to the caster wheel post as it extends through its bearing. The rollers impinge on the lower surface of the mounting plate, and serve to transfer some of the load of the supported object directly to the caster wheel, enabling the support of very heavy loads.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes an axle sleeve. The axle sleeve may be insertable over a portion of an axle, such as a mid-journal surface between an inner journal and an outer journal of the axle, to protect the mid-journal surface of the axle from damage. The axle sleeve may have a main body with an expansion mechanism, such as an axial cutout arrangement or a helical cutout arrangement. The expansion mechanism may allow the axle sleeve to expand diametrically to pass over a journal and to contract to seat on a mid-journal surface. An axial cutout arrangement may include cutout(s) extending from an end of the axle sleeve parallel to the central axis of the axle sleeve. A helical cutout arrangement may include cutout(s) extending from an end of the axle sleeve along a spiral path.
