摘要: In accordance with a designation of a private alias endpoint as a routing target for traffic directed to a service from within an isolated virtual network of a provider network, a tunneling intermediary receives a baseline packet generated at a compute instance. The baseline packet indicates a public IP (Internet Protocol) address of the service as the destination, and a private IP address of the compute instance as the source. In accordance with a tunneling protocol, the tunneling intermediary generates an encapsulation packet comprising at least a portion of the baseline packet and a header indicating the isolated virtual network. The encapsulation packet is transmitted to a node of the service.

摘要: An Internet-of-Things (IoT) system for public transportation service and a method of operating the same are disclosed. The IoT system includes on-vehicle devices, a management server, a plurality of bus stop access points (APs), and a wired/wireless bus stop access point (AP) communication network. The on-vehicle devices are mounted within a bus, i.e., a public transportation means. The management server is connected to the bus over an Internet, i.e., a wireless communication means. The plurality of bus stop APs are short distance communication APs, and are each provided in each bus stop at which the bus stops and configured to enable information to be exchanged between the bus stop and the bus. The wired/wireless bus stop AP communication network connects the plurality of bus stop APs. The management server performs Internet access processing to connect the bus stop AP communication network and an external terminal.

摘要: Systems and methods for supporting unique multicast forwarding across multiple connected subnets in a high performance computing environment. In accordance with an embodiment, by enforcing that incoming (i.e., incoming on a router port of a subnet) multicast packets have SGIDs (source global identifiers) that correspond to a restricted set of source subnet numbers when entering the ingress router ports to a local subnet, it is possible to ensure that multicast packets sent from one subnet are never returned to the same subnet through a different set of connected router ports (i.e., avoid looping multicast packets).

In some situations, one or more of the computing nodes of a managed virtual computer network is configured to perform actions to extend capabilities of the managed virtual computer network to other computing nodes that are not part of the managed virtual computer network, such as by forwarding communications between computing nodes of the managed virtual computer network and the other external computing nodes so as to enable the other external computing nodes to participate in the managed virtual computer network. In some situations, the computing nodes may include virtual machine nodes hosted on one or more physical computing machines or systems, such as by or on behalf of one or more users.

摘要: A method is disclosed of embedding a GPS location of a host device in an IPv6 address using IPv6 Neighbor Discovery, the method includes sending a neighbor solicitation request having a Global Positioning System (GPS) option from a first host device to an IPv6 server via an IPv6 communication network, the GPS option providing GPS information of the first host device; receiving the neighbor solicitation request having the GPS option on the IPv6 server, the IPv6 server configured to capture the neighbor solicitation request and create an IPv6 address with GPS information for the first host device; sending a neighbor discovery advertisement from the IPv6 server to the first host device; receiving the neighbor discovery advertisement and returning a solicit, request and renew message to the IPv6 server; and returning a reply message to the first host device with the IPv6 address with the GPS information.

摘要: A method for use in a dispersed storage network operates to select a recovery of selected ones of one or more first sets of encoded data slices in response to detecting a storage error associated with the selected ones of the one or more first sets of encoded data slices; issue requests for a second decode threshold number of encoded data slices of selected ones of one or more second sets of encoded data slices corresponding to the selected ones of the one or more first sets of encoded data slices; decode the second decode threshold number of encoded data slices to produce recovered data in response to receiving the second decode threshold number of encoded data slices; encode the recovered data utilizing first IDA parameters associated with the first IDA to produce one or more rebuilt encoded data slices corresponding to the selected ones of the one or more first sets of encoded data slices; and facilitate storage of the one or more rebuilt encoded data slices.
