摘要: The present disclosure relates to a wireless battery management system which ensures stability when obtaining battery data through wireless communication. The battery management system includes a manager node operating a primary channel and a secondary channel based on wireless communication and obtaining battery data from a monitor node by using the primary channel or the secondary channel and a monitor node connected to a battery module to collect battery data including one or more of a current, a voltage, a temperature, and self-diagnosis data of the battery module, transmit the collected battery data to the manager node through the primary channel, and when the transmission of the battery data through the primary channel fails, transmit the battery data to the manager node through the secondary channel.

摘要: Systems, methods, devices, computer readable media, and other various embodiments are described for location management processes in wearable electronic devices. Performance of such devices is improved with reduced time to first fix of location operations in conjunction with low-power operations. In one embodiment, low-power circuitry manages high-speed circuitry and location circuitry to provide location assistance data from the high-speed circuitry to the low-power circuitry automatically on initiation of location fix operations as the high-speed circuitry and location circuitry are booted from low-power states. In some embodiments, the high-speed circuitry is returned to a low-power state prior to completion of a location fix and after capture of content associated with initiation of the location fix. In some embodiments, high-speed circuitry is booted after completion of a location fix to update location data associated with content.

摘要: A transmit power optimization and rate-control system includes a transmitter circuit having one or more power amplifiers transmit radio-frequency (RF) signals at a transmission (Tx) rate and a Tx power level. A receiver circuit receives RF signals, decodes the received RF signals and provides one or more Tx status feedbacks. A rate-control module adjusts the Tx rate based at least on a channel condition. A probing engine generates at least two consecutive frames at a first Tx power level, and a second Tx power level in response to a trigger causes the transmitter to transmit the at least two consecutive frames, and processes respective Tx status feedbacks received in response to transmission of the two consecutive frames in order to optimize the Tx power of the transmitter.

摘要: The disclosure is related to adaptive transcoding of video streams from a camera. A camera system includes a camera and a base station connected to each other in a first communication network, which can be a wireless network. When a user requests to view a video from the camera, the base station obtains a video stream from the camera, transcodes the video stream, based on one or more input parameters, to generate a transcoded video stream, and transmits the transcoded video stream to a user device. The base station can transcode the video stream locally, e.g., within the base station, or in a cloud network based on transcoding location factors. Further, the camera system can also determine whether to stream the video to the user directly from the base station or from the cloud network based on streaming location factors.
