摘要: Systems and methods for providing an electrical waveform to a pi-cell polarization switch. The electrical waveform may reduce/limit ion accumulation in and/or light leakage associated with the polarization switch. The electrical waveform may include multiple segments, e.g., a first segment may drive the polarization switch to a first polarization state and may be defined by a first portion having a first voltage level and a first polarity and a second portion having the first voltage level and a second polarity opposite the first polarity and a second segment, occurring after the first segment, that may drive the polarization switch to the second polarization state. The second segment may be defined by a second voltage level having the first polarity. An absolute value of the first voltage level may be greater than an absolute value of the second voltage level.

摘要: Systems and techniques are described for providing control of a monitoring system. In some implementations, a monitoring device is located in a building and is configured to monitor at least a portion of the building based on output from one or more sensors. A monitoring server is located remote from the building and is configured to communicate with the monitoring device. The monitoring server may be configured to translate one or more parameters received from a client device into an interpreted monitoring script and a trigger that causes performance of the interpreted monitoring script. The monitoring device may include an interpreter configured to determine that the trigger has been met and initiate performance of the interpreted monitoring script to evaluate a monitoring rule in accordance with one or more configurable parameters.

摘要: An illumination device and method are provided herein for calibrating individual LEDs in the illumination device to obtain a desired luminous flux and a desired chromaticity of the device over changes in drive current, temperature, and over time as the LEDs age. The calibration method may include subjecting the illumination device to a first ambient temperature, successively applying at least three different drive currents to a first LED to produce illumination at three or more different levels of brightness, obtaining a plurality of optical measurements from the illumination produced by the first LED at each of the at least three different drive currents, obtaining a plurality of electrical measurements from the photodetector and storing results of the obtaining steps within the illumination device to calibrate the first LED at the first ambient temperature. The plurality of optical measurements may generally include luminous flux and chromaticity, the plurality of electrical measurements may generally include induced photocurrents and forward voltages, and the calibration method steps may be repeated for each LED included within the illumination device and upon subjecting the illumination device to a second ambient temperature.

An example embodiment operates by detecting an association signal from a downstream smart device responsive to a downstream smart device detection signal. The example embodiment further operates by determining whether the downstream smart device is coupled to an electrical terminal of an electrical switching device and configured to receive electricity in response to an actuation of the electrical switching device. If so, the example embodiment further operates by generating a control signal configured to instruct the electrical switching device to prevent a deactuation of the electrical switching device and transmitting the control signal to the electrical switching device.

The control attachment may comprise a toggle element on the control attachment, wherein the toggle element is movable in response to a manual actuation associated with the control attachment; a first interface comprising an actuator element configured to make contact with a power adapter, wherein the actuator element is adapted to engage with a switch of the power adapter in response to the manual actuation; and an attachment element adapted to attach the control attachment to the power adapter; wherein a manual actuation of the toggle element enables controlling the power applied to the load by the power adapter. 摘要: A wireless lighting control system is provided to create a lighting pattern by remotely controlling a plurality of lighting devices according to groups, thereby improving a lighting effect. The wireless lighting control system includes a first lighting device electrically connected with a first smart device to act as a master, and a plurality of second lighting devices electrically connected with a plurality of second smart devices to act as slaves, respectively. If a group for lighting control and control pattern information according to groups are selected from the first smart device, the first lighting device transmits the control pattern information according to the groups to the second lighting devices through a wireless communication scheme. At least one of lighting units of the second lighting devices and display units of the second smart devices is controlled based on the control pattern information according to the groups.

摘要: A method of configuring a white LED light with a tunable diffused light color temperature, includes using a light-emitting unit configured with a first LED load emitting light with a first color temperature between 1800K and 3000K and a second LED load emitting light with a second color temperature between 4000K and 6500K, electrically connected in parallel; using a light diffuser to cover the first LED load and the second LED load to create a diffused light with a diffused light color temperature; using two semiconductor switching devices working in conjunction with a controller to respectively control a first electric power delivered to the first LED load and a second electric power delivered to the second LED load such that a total electric power of the light-emitting unit remains unchanged; and using at least one external control device to activate a selection of the diffused light color temperature.
