摘要: A fire suppression apparatus for a vehicle includes a sensor for detecting a condition of an object mounted in the vehicle, a controller configured to determine whether the condition of the object mounted in the vehicle, which is detected by the sensor, satisfies a predetermined criterion for determining outbreak of fire and to output a control signal for suppression of the fire when the condition of the object satisfies the predetermined criterion, and a spread bag apparatus mounted in the vehicle, which is configured to unfold a collapsed spread bag toward the object in response to the control signal from the controller such that the unfolded spread bag hermetically covers the object, thereby suppressing fire at the object.

摘要: Ignition-quenching covers are configured to quench an ignition event in a combustible environment triggered by an ignition source associated with an ignition-risk structure. Ignition-quenching covers comprise a porous body that includes two or more porous elements and are configured to cover the ignition-risk structure, wherein the ignition-risk structure is associated with a potential ignition source that may produce the ignition event in the combustible environment. The porous body defines passages sized to quench the ignition event. Methods comprise installing a porous ignition-quenching cover over an ignition-risk structure to prevent bulk combustion, e.g., of a fuel vapor in a fuel tank, due to an ignition event associated with the ignition-risk structure.

摘要: The present invention discloses a fire extinguishing system for a battery pack, including a detection control apparatus, a fire suppression apparatus, and a hydrant water extinguishing apparatus. The detection control apparatus is disposed inside or outside a battery pack. The fire suppression apparatus and the hydrant water extinguishing apparatus are disposed outside the battery pack. The detection control apparatus is connected to the fire suppression apparatus. The hydrant water extinguishing apparatus is connected to the fire suppression apparatus. Beneficial effects: It is ensured that initial fire can be suppressed and later reignition can be resolved, so that fire extinguishing is adequate. Fire is directly extinguished at a core position inside the battery pack. An exhaust filter device gains valuable time after initial fire extinguishing.

摘要: An adaptive method and system for monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly uses sensor-based ID nodes within the container and a command node. Sensors on each ID node generate sensor data about an environmental condition proximate the ID node as disposed within the container. Each ID node periodically broadcasts the sensor data. The command node monitors a first group of sensor data from the ID nodes over a first time period to detect an initial environmental threshold condition related to the container, then monitors a subsequent group of sensor data over a second time period under a modified monitoring parameter to detect a secondary environmental threshold condition related to the container as the anomaly. In response to detecting the secondary condition, the command node generates an alert notification and transmits the alert notification to an external transceiver to initiate a mediation response related to the anomaly.
