摘要: A system and method for providing updates to medical devices is disclosed. In one example, the medical devices are configured to pull update files in response to the reception of an update message from a server. Once the update files are downloaded by a medical device, the update files can be installed. While the medical device pulls the update files, the medical device can continue with its normal operation. If desired, a user can select which medical devices should be updated, based on any desired factors, such as the physical location of the device, the model of the device, the type of device, and the way the device is being used.

摘要: This disclosure describes techniques for providing users of services provided by network-based service platforms with additional control for approving patches that are to be deployed to computing resources that support their services. In some examples, the techniques include generating and using a “snapshot,” or list, of patches that are preliminarily approved for deployment. Prior to deploying the patches to the computing resources, users are provided with access to the snapshot and are able to modify the snapshot. For example, users can modify the snapshot by adding patches, removing patches, specifying a sequence in which the patches are to be deployed, and so forth. The snapshot of patches may be “frozen” for a period of time, meaning that patches that during the period of time, only patches in the snapshot are deployed, and patches that are not included in the snapshot are not permitted to be deployed to computing resources.

摘要: The present application is directed towards systems and methods for cluster-based code analysis and transformation. Cluster-based analysis may group code objects based on their similarity across functional areas, such as where a code object is cloned in multiple areas (e.g. sort functions that are duplicated across areas, or reports or tables that are identical). In some implementations, objects may be grouped into clusters by type, or based on reading from or writing to a common table. In some implementations, clustering at different layers may be possible.

摘要: A system for improving transportation infrastructure includes a network access device to receive vehicle behavior data from multiple vehicles, the vehicle behavior data corresponding to at least one of driver-controlled vehicle behavior or autonomous vehicle behavior and including at least one of vehicle locations associated with the vehicle behavior data or infrastructure data indicating features of infrastructure associated with the vehicle behavior data. The system further includes a memory to store the vehicle behavior data including the at least one of the vehicle locations or the infrastructure data. The system further includes a processor to perform an analysis of the vehicle behavior data and the at least one of the vehicle locations or the infrastructure data and to identify an improvement to the transportation infrastructure to at least one of reduce traffic, increase driver comfort, or increase safety based on the analysis.

摘要: A program update method includes a first step of acquiring a remaining capacity of electric power stored in an electric power storage device, a second step of acquiring an electric power amount required for the control device to update the control program, a third step of determining whether the remaining capacity is smaller than the electric power amount, a fourth step of charging the electric power storage device such that the remaining capacity becomes the electric power amount or larger when it is determined that the remaining capacity is smaller than the electric power amount in the third step, and a fifth step of causing the control device to update the control program when the remaining capacity becomes the electric power amount or larger in the fourth step. The first to fifth steps are performed when the vehicle is operating.

摘要: An example apparatus comprises a processing resource coupled to a memory resource. The processing resource may be configured to execute instructions stored on the memory resource to generate a first secure key including a private key stored by a vehicle, generate a first secure message including the first secure key, transmit the first secure message over a vehicle bus to a vehicle part associated with the vehicle, and receive, from the vehicle part, a second secure message including at least one of a vehicle identification number (VIN) and a configuration parameter corresponding to the vehicle part in response to a determination that the first secure key matches a secure key corresponding to the vehicle part.

摘要: A communication device for a vehicle has a communication unit set up to establish a communication link between the vehicle and an external vehicle server and to exchange data in a cryptographically secured manner between the vehicle and the external vehicle server. The communication unit is further set up to be operated in a first or second mode. The modes differ in the type of cryptographic securing of the data. The communication unit has a secure hardware memory in which a binary value corresponding to the respective mode is stored.

摘要: A method and arrangement for commissioning an updated application for an industrial automation arrangement, wherein a first, existing application on a first controller and the updated application on a test device are executed in parallel, where local software (in particular a proxy service (proxy)) writes sensor data to the process image of a separate test device, where memory cells (e.g., I/O values, variables or registers) not yet belonging to the local process image of the test device are applied or allocated there, such that the “external” data and values of the productive system (first controller) are available in the local process image of the test device, without needing to change the production version of the application or the version of the application to be tested, and where the output values of the updated application are tested; if successful, the updated application is cleared for operation.

摘要: A processor may receive a software fix package. The processor may apply an interim software code fix of the software fix package to software of a device, where the interim software code fix includes adjusting one or more tunable computing parameters to one or more first values. The processor may identify that a reboot of the device is recommended for application of a permanent code fix of the software fix package. The processor may identify that the device was not rebooted after receipt of the software fix package. The processor may determine that a dynamic reconfiguration event has taken place. The processor may apply, automatically, one or more second values for the one or more tunable computing parameters associated with the interim software code fix of the software fix package.

摘要: Technologies for switching network traffic include a network switch. The network switch includes one or more processors and communication circuitry coupled to the one or more processors. The communication circuity is capable of switching network traffic of multiple link layer protocols. Additionally, the network switch includes one or more memory devices storing instructions that, when executed, cause the network switch to receive, with the communication circuitry through an optical connection, network traffic to be forwarded, and determine a link layer protocol of the received network traffic. The instructions additionally cause the network switch to forward the network traffic as a function of the determined link layer protocol. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
