Abstract: A segmented core (1) for molding of an impeller (12), especially a pump impeller, includes at least three segments (2). All of the segments (2) have the same form and each segment (2) has connecting devices (3, 3′) for connecting the segment (2) with the adjacent segments (2). A method for molding an impeller (12) includes the steps of: providing a molding tool (14), providing a core (1) including at least three identical segments (2), which include the connection portions (3, 3′) for connecting the segment (2) with the adjacent segments (2); assembling of the core (1); placing the core (1) in the molding tool (14); molding the impeller (12), ejecting the core (1) and the impeller (12) out of the molding tool (14); and removing the core (1) from the impeller (12).

The stored data is processed according to defined typically statistical computation rules, whereupon the at least one pump assembly is then adapted in its programming via the network, on the basis of the processed data.

The pump assembly (1) includes an electronics unit (9) which is configured to transmit a signal into the cable (5) and to detect a reflection signal at the surface (4) of the fluid (10) located in the shaft (2) or receptacle. The electronics unit (9) is configured to determine, from this reflection signal, a fluid level (11) in the shaft (2) or receptacle by way of time domain reflectometry.

Abstract: A centrifugal pump assembly (2) includes an impeller, an electric drive motor (4), driving the impeller (12), and a back-flow channel (24), forming a flow connection from a delivery side (18) to a suction side (16). A valve (26), in a pressure-dependent manner, closes the flow connection. A control device (28) adjusts/sets the speed (n) of the drive motor (4), and is configured with a venting function for venting the centrifugal pump assembly (2) on operation. According to the venting function, after the detection of an air accumulation, the speed (n) of the drive motor (4) is automatically reduced, and subsequently the speed (n) is rapidly increased again. A method is also provided for removing an air accumulation from a centrifugal pump assembly during operation, which method includes reducing the speed (n) of the centrifugal pump assembly and subsequently rapidly increasing the speed (n) of the centrifugal pump again.

The filtering has device an inlet being connectable to receive liquid to be filtered so that the flux of liquid to be filtered is from the inside of the support structure, through the filtration cake and to the outside of the support structure thereby providing a filtrate, an outlet for outletting liquid from the interior of the tubular element, and a filtrate outlet for outletting filtrate from the filtering device. The filtration cake is being provided by deposition of solids from the sludge formed in the biological treatment device.
