Abstract:
The present application provides methods for controlling a small cell on or off procedure in a Small cell specific Gate Way (S-GW). One of the methods comprises steps of receiving a cell indication message from a Source Small Cell (SSC), the cell indication message includes a cell state change indication parameter indicating whether the SSC is to be on or off and a cell on/off timer parameter indicating a time duration for a cell on process or a cell off process; transmitting request message requesting to expand or shrink a cell coverage of a Target Small Cell (TSC) according to the cell state change indication parameter; and receiving a complete indication message indicating the cell on process or the cell off process is complete after the time duration indicated by the cell on/off timer parameter from the SSC.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for reporting channel state information. According to one embodiment of the present invention, receiving a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) based on CSI-RS setting information that is provided by a base station; and reporting to the base station the CSI generated by using the CSI-RS, wherein the CSI includes precoding information selected from a specific codebook, wherein elements of the specific codebook are configured based on a precoding vector W, wherein the precoding vector W is W = [ W 1 aW 2 ] , W1 is a precoding vector applied to a first domain antenna group having a 2D antenna structure, W2 is a precoding vector applied to a second domain antenna group having the 2D antenna structure, and wherein “a” can be a value representing phase difference between the first domain antenna group and the second domain antenna group.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for establishing a device-to-device (D2D) connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A first device selects at least one connection identifier (CID) among unused CIDs by the first device and other devices, and transmits a connection establishment request message to a second device. The first device receives a connection establishment response message from the second device. The connection establishment response message includes the D2D peer ID of the first device, the D2D peer ID of the second device, a CID list unused by the second device and a first CID determined by the second device. The first device transmits a connection establishment confirm message including a second CID confirmed by the first device to the second device.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting channel status information (CSI) of downlink multi-carrier transmission includes generating the CSI including at least one of a rank indicator (RI), a first precoding matrix index (PMI), a second PMI and a channel quality indicator (CQI) for one or more downlink carriers, the CQI being calculated based on precoding information determined by a combination of the first and second PMIs, determining, when two or more CSIs collide with one another in one uplink subframe of one uplink carrier, a CSI to be transmitted on the basis of priority, and transmitting the determined CSI over a uplink channel. If a CSI including an RI or a wideband first PMI collides with a CSI including a wideband CQI or a subband CQI, the CSI including a wideband CQI or a subband CQI has low priority and is dropped.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing effective feedback in a wireless communication system supporting multiple antennas. A method for transmitting CSI of downlink transmission via uplink in a wireless communication system includes transmitting a joint-coded rank indicator (RI) and a first wideband (WB) precoding matrix indicator (PMI) at a first subframe, and transmitting a wideband channel quality indicator (WB CQI) and a second WB PMI at a second subframe. A user equipment (UE) preferred precoding matrix is indicated by a combination of the first PMI and the second PMI. If the RI is Rank-1 or Rank-2, the first PMI indicates one of subsets each having 8 indexes from among 16 indexes of the first PMI of a precoding codebook.
Abstract:
A method of supporting communication using two or more heterogeneous radio access technologies (RAT) comprises: receiving a setup message providing instructions for access to a second base station in a second communication network supporting the second RAT from a first base station in a first communication network supporting a first RAT; and attempting to access the second base station. At this time, when the terminal successfully accesses the second base station, specific traffic type data are transmitted and received through the second base station, and data other than the specific traffic type can be transmitted and received through the first base station.
