Abstract:
A method for transmitting and receiving uplink signals using an optimized rank 3 codebook is disclosed. The optimized rank 3 codebook includes 12 precoding matrix groups, which are consisted of 6 Tx antenna power balanced precoding matrix groups and 6 layer power balanced precoding matrix groups. Preferably, the optimized 4Tx rank 3 codebook has 20 precoding matrix, two precoding matrixes are selected from each the 6 Tx antenna power balanced precoding matrix groups, considering chordal distance and the number of precoding matrix. And then 8 precoding matrices are selected from the layer balanced precoding matrix groups.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) deactivation in a wireless mobile communication system are disclosed. A base station (BS) transmits a downlink control channel to a user equipment (UE), and deactivates the SPS when a binary field indicating resource allocation information contained in the downlink control channel is entirely filled with ‘1’.
Abstract:
A method and device for transmitting a first and second uplink signal, each having data and control information is provided. The method includes channel encoding the control information of the second uplink signal based on a number of symbols of control information to produce. The channel encoding includes determining the number of symbols in accordance with a payload size of the data of the first uplink signal and a total number of transmissible symbols of a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) of the first uplink signal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for operating a power save mode in a wireless LAN system. The method involves transmitting a power save multi-poll (PSMP) frame containing a power save mode (PSM) of a non-access point (AP) station (STA) to a first station and to a second station which are paired with an AP on the basis of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technology. Information on the PSM contains downlink transmission start offset which indicates the point in time of starting a downlink transmission period, a downlink transmission duration which indicates the duration of the downlink transmission period, and transmission object station identification information. The method further involves transmitting a data frame to the first station and to the second station on the basis of the MIMO technology during the downlink transmission period. The transmission object station identification information indicates a group identifier (group ID) for indicating an object station group including the first station and the second station, which are object stations to which the AP transmits the data frame on the basis of the MIMO technology.

A method for transmitting downlink reference signal in a multi-antenna wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes allocating RSs for a first antenna group to a subframe having a predetermined area with different access levels for user equipments having different access capabilities, pairing RSs for a second antenna group with RSs for the first antenna group, allocating the paired RSs to the predetermined area of the subframe in code division multiplexing, and transmitting the subframe on the downlink.
Abstract:
A UE apparatus and method for feeding back Channel State Information (CSI) in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The UE apparatus includes a processor for determining a Rank Indicator (RI) for a predefined frequency band and selecting an index of a Precoding Matrix Indicator (PMI) corresponding to the determined RI from a codebook set used for a transmission on the predefined frequency band, and a transmission antenna for transmitting the RI and the index of the PMI to a Base Station (BS). The RI and the index of the PMI are jointly encoded prior to the transmission.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method in which a base station transmits signals to a relay node in a multiuser multi-antenna (MIMO) wireless communication system. More particularly, the method comprises the following steps: allocating one or more antenna ports to one or more relay nodes, respectively; mapping each of a plurality of downlink grant signals for said one or more relay nodes to a preset resource domain from among resource domains corresponding to one of the allocated antenna ports; mapping uplink grant signals or data signals for said one or more relay nodes to the resource domains corresponding to the allocated antenna ports; and transmitting the mapped signals to said one or more relay nodes.
