Abstract:
The present invention provides an outer rotor type motor for a drum type washing machine to reduce material and weight for fabrication, simplify fabrication process, provide stable assembly of a stator to a fixing side, such as a tub or a bearing housing, prevent unwinding of stacked steel plates in assembling a helical core, and reduce stress on the steel plates of the core. The present invention includes a helical core having multiple layers formed by winding steel plates in a helix starting from a bottom layer to a top layer, the steel plate having a base portion with teeth projected from the base portion, wherein the teeth have arched shape tips for reducing vibration and noise generated by cogging torque of the helical core, an upper insulator of an electric insulating material covered on an upper side of the helical core in a shape complementary to a shape of the helical core, and a lower insulator of an electric insulating material covered on a lower side of the helical core at the time of assembly with the upper insulator having a shape complementary to a shape of a helical core.
Abstract:
Provided are a thin film transistor and method of fabricating the same, in which an amorphous silicon layer is formed on a substrate, a capping layer containing a metal catalyst having a different concentration according to its thickness is formed on the amorphous silicon layer, the capping layer is patterned to form a capping layer pattern, and the amorphous silicon layer is crystallized, such that the density and position of seeds formed at an interface between the amorphous silicon layer and the capping layer pattern is controlled, thereby improving the size and uniformity of grains, and in which polycrystalline silicon of desired size and uniformity is selectively formed at a desired position by one crystallization process, resulting in a thin film transistor having excellent and desired properties. The thin film transistor includes a substrate; a plurality of semiconductor layers formed on the substrate, the semiconductor layers including grains of different sizes obtained by crystallizing an amorphous silicon layer beneath a capping layer into a polycrystalline silicon layer using the capping layer pattern containing a metal catalyst with a predetermined distribution and having a predetermined height and width; and a gate insulating layer, a gate electrode, an interlayer insulting layer, and source and drain electrodes formed on the semiconductor layers. Therefore, the crystallization process is performed using the capping layer pattern containing the metal catalyst, which has concentration and distribution varying depending on the thickness of the capping layer pattern, thereby improving the size and uniformity of grains. In addition, the polycrystalline silicon of desired size and uniformity is selectively formed in a desired position by one crystallization process, resulting in the thin film transistor having excellent and desired properties.

A method for generating a music file includes receiving a melody from a user through a user interface, and generating a melody file corresponding to the received melody. The method further includes generating a harmony accompaniment file responsive to melody represented by the melody file, and generating a music file by synthesizing the melody file and the harmony accompaniment file.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of removing protein while not removing nucleic acids from a biological sample containing protein, the method including: adding a compound of formula I below and a protein nucleating agent to the biological sample containing protein: where at least two of R1, R2, and R3 substituents are substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl groups and the other substituent is a hydrogen atom, and a is an integer of 1 to 6; treating the resultant mixture with a hydrophobic surface material in order to obtain a protein-free mixture; and separating the protein-free mixture from the hydrophobic surface material to which the protein is bound. By using the method, the protein can be selectively, effectively removed from the biological sample containing the protein while a nucleic acid is maintained in the sample.

A solar simulator combines mercury lamps and halogen lamps, to improve upon conventional solar simulators using halogen and infrared lamps which cannot recreate an environment close to that under real sunlight, and upon solar simulators using expensive and fragile metal halide lamps and arc xenon lamps. An environment recreation laboratory for solar simulation includes a lamp bank mounted at an upper portion thereof and including a plurality of halogen lamps, halogen filter lamps being halogen lamps provided with an infrared filter, respectively, and mercury lamps. A temperature control unit includes a cooling unit that discharges air to cool the lamp bank, and an air conditioner that distributes the air discharged by the cooling unit. An electrical panel controls operations of the lamp bank and the temperature control unit, such that an environment within the environment recreation laboratory may very closely simulate the environment under real sunlight.
