Abstract:
A light source apparatus and a light source adjusting module are provided. The light source apparatus includes a power supply, a phase modulator, an electrical transformer, a light source adjusting module and a light-emitting device. The power supply provides a first AC voltage signal. The phase modulator receives the first AC voltage signal and adjusts a conducting phase of the first AC voltage signal to generate a modulated AC voltage signal. The electrical transformer transforms the modulated AC voltage signal to generate a second AC voltage signal. The light adjusting module generates a luminance adjusting signal according to a state of the second AC voltage signal. The light-emitting device receives the luminance adjusting signal to generate a corresponding light source.
Abstract:
A thermostable cellulase having increased enzyme activity is disclosed. The cellulase comprises a modified amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, wherein the tyrosine at position 61 is substituted with an amino acid selected from the group consisting of phenylalanine, alanine and glycine.

Abstract:
Disclosed are methods for making polymeric substrates, such as polycarbonate substrates, at least partially coated with a haze-free, self-healing coating. Also disclosed are substrates made by such methods.
Abstract:
A method for processing a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) in a wireless communication system based on a multiple access scheme is provided. The CSI-RS transmission method defines a plurality of CSI-RS patterns, assigns the CSI-RS patterns to individual cells, uses the CSI-RSs alternately per Physical Resource Block (PRB) so as to utilize the transmission powers of all antenna ports for transmitting CSI-RSs, transmits Coordinated Multi Point (CoMP) CSI-RSs and non-CoMP CSI-RSs separately, and mutes specific resources in association with the CSI-RS pattern of adjacent cells.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a pectin-modified resistant starch prepared by cross-linking starch with pectin by pectinesterase reaction. Such resistant starch is low amylase digestible and thus is useful in food products, including nutritional supplements, to reduce calorie content and increase fiber content. This invention also relates to a composition containing the resistant starch and a process for the preparation of the same.
Abstract:
An over current protection circuit and a power converter using the same. The over current protection circuit includes a soft start cell and an operational amplifier. The soft start cell outputs a soft start signal according to a direct current (DC) level, and the soft start signal increases progressively to the DC level in a soft start interval. The operational amplifier outputs an over current signal to a feedback control circuit according to the soft start signal and an inductance current of a switching converter so that a duty cycle of a driving signal from the feedback control circuit increases progressively in the soft start interval.
Abstract:
A radiation curable coating comprising the reaction product of a polyol and a polycarboxylic acid/anhydride is disclosed. The reaction product may be made from at least some biomass derived compound. Coatings wherein this reaction product is further reacted with a hydroxyl-carboxylic acid and/or a compound having a radiation curable moiety are also disclosed, as are substrates coated with any of these coatings.

The photo-curable hole-transport material comprises at least one first conjugate structure, at least one connecting structure, and at least one second conjugate structure. The first conjugate structure is a triarylamine derivative. The second conjugate structure is a carbazole derivative. The connecting structure is derived from one structure selected from the group consisting of the following or the combination thereof: urethane and urea structures.
Abstract:
Radiation curable coating compositions are disclosed. The radiation curable coating composition comprises a) an organic film-forming binder comprising (i) a urethane (meth)acrylate comprising the reaction product of reactants comprising a polyol and a polyisocyanate comprising at least two (meth)acrylate functional groups per molecule; and (ii) a highly functional (meth)acrylate; and b) a (meth)acrylate functional silsesquioxane dispersed in the binder. Also disclosed are related methods for coating a substrate, coated substrates and cured coatings formed from the radiation curable coating compositions.
