摘要： (Meth)acrylate/aspartate amine curatives comprising the reaction product of a polyamine, a dialkyl maleate and/or dialkyl fumarate, and a (meth)acrylate are disclosed, as are methods for making the same. A polyurea comprising the reaction product of the acrylate/aspartate amine curative and isocyanate is also disclosed, as are coatings comprising such a polyurea and substrates coated with the same.

摘要： Coating compositions comprising a polyurea formed from a reaction mixture comprising isocyanate and a (meth)acrylated amine are disclosed. The (meth)acrylated amine is the reaction product of a polyamine and a mono(meth)acrylate; the ratio of equivalents of isocyanate groups to equivalents of amine groups is greater than 1 and the isocyanate and the (meth)acrylated amine reaction product can be applied to a substrate at a volume mixing ratio of 1:1. Methods for using the coatings, and substrates coated therewith are also disclosed.

摘要： Compositions are provided which contain (a) one or more polysiloxanes comprising at least one reactive functional group; a plurality of particles; and, optionally, one or more curing agents comprising at least one functional group that is reactive with any reactive functional group of polysiloxane (a). Additionally, a process for applying the multi-component composite coatings described above to a substrate and coated substrates are provided. A process for preparing the coating compositions also is provided. The multi-component composite coating compositions of the invention provide highly scratch resistant color-plus-clearcoatings capable of retaining scratch resistance after weathering.

摘要： An aqueous resinous dispersion and a method of coating employing the aqueous resinous dispersion are disclosed. The aqueous resinous dispersions are solubilized with base and comprise an acrylic polymer containing N-ethoxymethylacrylamide or methacrylamide moieties and an epoxy resin. The dispersion is useful for coating metal containers particularly as a coating for the interior of containers which are used for alcoholic beverages, for example, beer cans.
