    摘要: A document recognizing system in which a document-forming work station coupled with a scanner, a file station for storing image data, and a recognition work station for recognizing a document image are interconnected through a network. In the document recognizing system, the character image data entered from the scanner is transferred to the file station through the document-forming work station, and the recognition result of the character image data by the recognition work station is also transferred to the file station and stored therein, allowing the operator to read out a necessary recognition result at the time of forming a desired document in the document-forming work station.

    摘要: In a computer network system comprising a plurality of computers connected to a communication line, each computer executes a program including a function. In one of the computers, a judging section is supplied with a request indicative of the function from the program and judges whether or not the function can be executed by the above-mentioned one to produce a non-executable signal when the function cannot be executed by the above-mentioned one. Responsive to the non-executable signal, a request command generating section generates an original request command which is transmitted to at least one other computer as a transmission request command by a command transmitting section. A command receiving section of the other computer receives the transmission request command as a received request command, which an executing section executes to produce an execution result generated by a reply command generating section as an original reply command transmitted by the command transmitting section as a transmission reply command back to the above-mentioned one. The command receiving section of the above-mentioned one receives the transmission reply command as a received reply command which is returned to the program as the execution result by a returning section.

    摘要: A magnetoresistive device includes a magnetoresistive film made of permalloy alloy. This thin film is formed on a substrate by sputtering or vapor deposition method. Thereafter, the thin film is heated to a temperature between 200.degree. C. and 350.degree. C. by flowing an electric current therethrough or irradiating the thin film with an electron or laser beam. It is desirable that the heat treatment is effected in an alternating magnetic field. The permalloy alloy may contain at least one element including Rh, Ru, Mo, Cr and V.
