The wiring portion includes several electroconductive layers, an interlayer insulating layer made of first and second insulating layers, and a protective layer. Some of the layers have through holes, and the through holes are disposed within the liquid chamber. Different electroconductive layers are electrically connected via a through hole formed in the interlayer insulating layer. The through hole size varies so that the hole in a second electroconductive layer is larger than the through hole in a first electroconductive layer.

    摘要: An LED display unit comprises a printed circuit board. A plurality of LEDs are packaged on the printed circuit board. Portions of the respective LEDs except for light emitting sections thereof are sealed by a resin. The LEDs having the portions thereof sealed by the resin are received in a case. A plurality of the cases are arranged on the attaching plate, to form a large-sized display panel. The case has a rear face thereof which is brought to a configuration in which spaces exist between the attaching plate and portions of the case except for a fixing portion thereof to the attaching plate and a connector for wiring.

    摘要: An inner stripe with self-aligned saturable-absorber structure semiconductor laser comprises a semiconductor substrate of a first conductivity type; a semiconductor current-blocking layer (CBL) of a second conductivity type formed on the substrate and having a stepped channel composed of an optical-guiding channel and current-restricting channel which is grooved at the bottom of the optical-guiding channel through the CBL into the substrate; a semiconductor cladding layer of a first conductivity type formed over the CBL to bury the stepped channel; a semiconductor active layer of a first or second conductivity type formed on the cladding layer; and a semiconductor cladding layer of a second conductivity type formed on the active layer, whereby laser noises can be markedly suppressed through wide temperature fluctuations and through the optical feedback range.

    摘要: A lime material and a siliceous material containing 10 to 40% by weight of alumina are admixed with an alkali solution, and the mixture is subjected to hydrothermal reaction with saturated water vapor at 4 to 40 kg/cm.sup.2 to form tobermorite. The reaction mixture is filtered to separate the tobermorite therefrom. A lime material and a gypsum material are added to the resulting filtrate, and the mixture is reacted at room temperature to a temperature of 90.degree. C. to form ettringite. The alkali filtrate separated from the ettringite is reused for the production of tobermorite.
