摘要: [Problem to be Solved]Provided are a stress buffer layer which satisfactorily releases stress acting on a joint portion, allowing an improvement in mounting reliability, and a method for producing the stress buffer layer.[Solution]A stress buffer sheet 10 is constituted by arranging external conductive layers 16A and 16B on the front and rear main surfaces of a through electrode layer 13 in which a resin 12 is filled between many columnar internal electrodes (metal pillars) 14. The columnar internal electrodes 14 are formed using a porous oxide base material 30 formed by anodic oxidation of valve metal; the oxide base material 30 is selectively removed after the internal electrodes 14 have been formed, and the resin 12 having a Young's modulus smaller than the oxide base material 30 is filled in a resultant void space. The internal electrode 14 has a high aspect ratio and a remarkable flexibility. The resin 12 has a small Young's modulus and can be deformed together with the internal electrode 14. Accordingly, in a structure having a wiring board 20 and an electronic component 24 connected through the stress buffer sheet 10, when stress acts on the joint portion during mounting of the electronic component 24, the whole of the through electrode layer 13 is deformed so that the stress is absorbed or released.

摘要: Managing commands that have not been executed is simplified while maintaining a state in which real-time commands can be executed. A printer 2 has a write control unit 21A that writes received commands to a receive buffer 31, a command execution unit 21B that executes the written commands, and a real-time command execution unit 21C that executes written commands that are real-time commands. The printer 2 enters a full-buffer mode as needed by the capacity of available storage space in the receive buffer 31, and when in the full-buffer mode the write control unit 21A cyclically writes commands to an auxiliary space created in the receive buffer, and the real-time command execution unit 21C reads and executes real-time commands from the auxiliary space.

摘要: A liquid ejection head ejects liquid droplets toward a target medium while being moved in a first direction. A temperature detector detects temperature in a peripheral region of the liquid ejection head. A signal generator generates a first signal including first pulses operable to drive the liquid ejection head so as to eject the liquid droplets toward a unit region in the target medium at a first frequency, and a second signal including second pulses operable to drive the liquid ejection head so as to eject the liquid droplets toward the unit region at a second frequency which is lower than the first frequency. A mode switcher establishes a first mode in which the first pulses are applied to the liquid ejection head when the temperature detector detects that the temperature is no higher than a prescribed temperature, and establishes a second mode in which the second pulses are applied to the liquid ejection head when the temperature detector detects that the temperature is higher than the prescribed temperature. A scan controller moves the liquid ejection head at a first velocity when the first mode is established, and moves the liquid ejection head at a second velocity which is lower than the first velocity when the second mode is established.

摘要: A liquid ejection apparatus has a liquid cartridge including a liquid container that has a flexible portion and stores liquid therein and a pressure chamber for applying pressure to the flexible portion of the liquid container; a liquid ejection head for ejecting liquid; a liquid flow path for guiding liquid from the liquid container to the liquid ejection head; a pressure pump for generating pressurized air; and an air flow path for guiding the pressurized air to the pressure chamber. The pressure pump includes an air chamber that communicates with the air flow path and a pressing member for pressing the air chamber so as to decrease the capacity of the air chamber. The capacity of the air chamber is decreased by the pressing member so as to increase the pressure in the air chamber to an upper limit value of a liquid supply pressure range where a prescribed liquid ejection characteristic is obtained, before a liquid ejecting operation is performed on an ejection target member. A continuous liquid ejecting operation is performed on an ejection target member having a maximum size for the liquid ejection apparatus in a state that the capacity of the air chamber is fixed.
