A computerized method operable on a computer system for compositing data streams to generate a playable composite stream includes receiving a plurality of independent data streams that are included in a broadcast stream. The independent data streams include a video stream and a metadata stream. The metadata stream includes a plurality of user selectable graphics metadata for a plurality of graphics options. The computerized method further includes receiving a user selection for at least one of the graphics options; and compositing the at least one graphics options with the video stream to generate a composite video stream, which includes the at least one graphics option and the video stream.

A laser welding apparatus includes laser generator, arc generator, wire feeder, filler feeder, filler-feeding-abnormality detector, and controller. Controller stops welding immediately upon receiving a filler-feeding-abnormality signal from filler-feeding-abnormality detector. This can stop welding before the formation of a defective weld bead, and can also prevent the breakage of the welding apparatus.

The output double-clad fiber is formed of a core, a first clad, and a second clad. In the output double-clad fiber, a high refractive-index resin coat section recoated with high refractive-index resin whose refractive index is the same as that of the second clad or greater is disposed at a part where the second clad is partly removed between an output end and the low-reflection FBG. The refractive index of the high refractive-index resin coat section gradually increases along the direction in which light travels through the first clad.

A screw compressor comprising: a pair of male and female screw rotors; and an air-cooled heat exchanger, wherein the air-cooled heat exchanger is provided above a motor for driving the compressor body; wherein, with respect to a cooling wind for the air-cooled heat exchanger, the air-cooled heat exchanger is inclined to the upstream side; wherein the uppermost portion of a unit suction port for the air-cooled heat exchanger cooling winds is positioned below the uppermost portion of the air-cooled heat exchanger positioned at the uppermost portion; wherein the lowermost portion of the unit suction port for the air-cooled heat exchanger cooling wind is positioned below the lowermost portion of the air-cooled heat exchanger positioned at the lowermost portion; and wherein the cooling wind for the air-cooled heat exchanger is exhausted from a ceiling portion of the compressor unit. With this structure, it becomes possible to provide a compact screw compressor with less noise whose installation area can be reduced.
