    摘要: A method of using steam ironing of fabrics as a way of causing reduction of physiological and/or subjective reactivity to stress in a human is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a stress reducing composition comprising one or more of a volatile natural essential oil and water. The composition is adapted to not cause staining of fabrics. The method includes delivering the stress reducing composition into a liquid container of a steam iron and heating the steam iron. The method further includes releasing vapors of the stress reducing composition produced within the liquid container of the steam iron upon heating into ambient air. The method still further includes the step of causing reduction of physiological and/or subjective reactivity to stress in the human by one of more of transdermal ingestion or inhalation of the vapors by the human.

    摘要: A laundry detergent product capable of removing malodor from laundered items during an automatic laundry washing process is disclosed. The laundry detergent comprises: (a) cyclodextrin granules formed from a mixture of cyclodextrin powder, an inorganic compound and an aqueous medium, the cyclodextrin granules having a particle size in a range of from about 100 microns to about 1200 microns; (b) a laundry detergent composition including a surfactant, a builder and an enzyme; and (c) the laundry detergent product being adapted to readily dissolve and disperse the cyclodextrin granules into a wash solution when the laundry detergent product is used in the above automatic laundry washing process, and wherein the cyclodextrin, when released into the above wash solution, has an odor loading factor of at least about 50.

    摘要: A process for producing a starting material in a granular form and in a nanoporous anhydrous state, a process for improving the water-solubility and controlled release characteristics of a detergent material, and a detergent composition are disclosed. In one aspect, a process for producing a starting material in a granular form and in a nanoporous anhydrous state includes obtaining a starting material in a form of a dispersion or solution in a sublimable solvent or mixtures of sublimable solvents, forming graded droplets by atomization, freezing the graded droplets in a freezing medium at a controlled freezing rate of a least 100° C. per second to form frozen droplets and drying the frozen droplets by vacuum sublimation to obtain freeze-dried granules of the starting material in a nanoporous anhydrous state. The starting material in dispersion or solution form has a viscosity suitable for atomization and formation of graded droplets.
