    Abstract: A mobile communication method, which configures a DRX cycle having an On duration in which a downlink signal transmitted from a serving base station is to be monitored and an Off duration other than the On duration in an RRC connected state where an RRC connection is established between a radio terminal and a radio base station, the mobile communication method comprising: a step A of transmitting, from the radio terminal to the radio base station, a timing adjustment request uplink signal through an uplink control channel, even when a radio resource of an uplink data channel has not been assigned in a case where the DRX cycle is configured; and a step B of transmitting, from the radio base station to the radio terminal, transmission timing correction information of an uplink signal, in response to the timing adjustment request uplink signal.

    Abstract: A radio terminal UE according to one embodiment includes a radio communication unit 210 configured to receive a plurality of parameters including a first parameter for high-speed movement and a second parameter for non-high-speed movement as parameters for processing for switching to a neighboring base station from a base station connected to the radio terminal, and a controller 260 configured to acquire movement speed information indicating a movement speed of the radio terminal and to select a parameter corresponding to the movement speed information.     Abstract: A communication control method according to one embodiment is used in a mobile communication system. The communication control method comprises a step A of predicting, by a UE, a radio condition within a second period after connection between the UE and a eNB is established, in a first period for which the connection is not established, and a step B of performing, by the UE, a random access procedure for establishing the connection. The step B includes a step of performing notification of information on the predicted radio condition from the UE to the eNB in the random access procedure. The information is used, by the eNB, for controlling communication with the UE.

    Abstract: A radio terminal according to one embodiment is configured to perform a relay between another radio terminal and a network. The radio terminal comprises: a transmitter configured to notify the network of first information indicating that the radio terminal is a relay terminal of the another radio terminal; a controller configured to forward data addressed to the another radio terminal to the another radio terminal via a connection between the another radio terminal through the radio terminal and the network; and a receiver configured to receive from the network a message indicating that the data addressed to the another radio terminal exists when at least part of the connection is released. The controller is configured to start control for establishing the connection in order to forward the data addressed to the another radio terminal in response to receiving the message.
