摘要： Novel N,N,N',N'-tetraacetyl aromatic diamine compounds shown by the general formula (1) ##STR1## wherein R is ##STR2## X is Br or Cl, Y is alkylene group or akylidene group having 1-3 carbon atoms, carbonyl group, sulfonyl group or oxygen atom and m and n is 0 or an integer of 1-4, are produced by reacting 1 mole of aromatic diamine having the general formulaH.sub.2 N--R--NH.sub.2 (2)with at least 4 moles of acetic anhydride. These compounds are used as a flame retardant for polyamides.

Encoding is performed by allocating a specific quantized representative value when a pixel value of a pixel is a specific pixel value, and by allocating a quantized representative value other than the specific quantized representative value when the pixel value is other than the specific pixel value.

摘要： The resolution, frame rate, or both can be improved when imaging moving subjects in an imaging apparatus using a CMOS image sensor. The imaging apparatus has an image sensor having a two-dimensional array of pixels. Each of the pixels includes an element operable to produce an electric charge by photoelectrically converting light from an imaged subject and a part operable to accumulate the produced charge and output an accumulated charge or a signal representing the accumulated charge. The imaging apparatus also has an area control unit operable to define a specified area of the image sensor containing a plurality of pixels and an area density control unit operable to specify a density of pixels read from the specified area defined by the area control unit.

摘要： In a mounting system having a height measuring instrument for measuring the height of solder paste printed on the electrodes and an electronic component placing apparatus, whether the height of solder paste is right or wrong is determined based on the measurement result of measuring the height of solder paste printed on the electrode. Further, whether or not the transfer of solder paste to the solder bump is required based on the determination result, and if it is determined that the transfer is required, the paste is transferred to an electronic component held in a mounting head. Thereby, the mounting quality can be assured by adding adequately an amount of solder in treating the board causing a shortage of the solder amount due to printing failure.

摘要： Disclosed is a user-friendly electronic apparatus having a pen and a panel as the input devices. The pen is tethered to the apparatus by a cord on which position data is recorded along its length direction. Responding to the readout of the position data, the CPU controls the reel-in operation according to the standby mode or the sleep mode of the apparatus. As the pen is held at a proper position on the apparatus by the CPU's control, the user is free from worrying about dropping, spoiling, or losing the pen. Besides, the operation of reeling-out the pen from a housing position in the apparatus allows the apparatus to automatically come back into an active mode from its sleep mode or standby mode.

摘要： A light-transmissible plate having the function of shielding electromagnetic waves includes a transparent plastic base plate, a hard coating layer on the base plate, an electroconductive layer on the hard coating layer and a layer having low refractive index on the electroconductive layer. The plate can shield electromagnetic waves, and can have high damage resistance even if the plastic constituting the base plate has low surface hardness. Moreover, it is possible to give the plate the ability to prevent reflection. A light-transmissible plate according to a second embodiment of the present invention includes an anti-reflection film composed of a plurality of layers on a surface opposite to the surface on which the electroconductive layer is provided. Because the film has excellent characteristics in accordance with strength of adhesion, durability, abrasion resistance, wear resistance, shock resistance, chemical resistance, flexibility, heat resistance, light resistance, weather resistance and static charge resistance, the plate has excellent functions of shielding electromagnetic waves, eliminating static electricity and preventing reflection. As a result, the plate is an excellent optical product as a whole.

The polymers are excellent as a flame retardant for inflammable organic high polymers, and flame resistant compositions having excellent washing resistance, light resistance and whiteness can be obtained by compounding the phosphorus- and bromine-containing polymer with the inflammable organic high polymer.
