    摘要: When heating the passenger compartment of a vehicle during cold weather, an air switching outlet is operated to allow the entry of outside air with an interior blower being operated to facilitate the entry of the outside air. A condenser door is operated to close an air passage of the condenser and a bypass passage is opened so that outside air flows to the passenger compartment of the vehicle while bypassing the condenser. Further, only a defogging outlet is opened and the incoming air is blown out from this defogging outlet toward the windshield of the vehicle so that a low humidity air curtain is formed proximate to the inner surface of the windshield. After completing the warm-up of the heat pump cycle, the condenser door is switched such that the air blown in by the blower passes the interior condenser to start the heating of the passenger compartment.

    摘要: A discharge tube according to the present invention is constructed such that it includes a cylindrical container made of an insulation tube, a pair of discharge electrodes provided at opposite ends of the container, a plurality of insulation coated lines containing a gas-ionization accelerator therein, which insulation coated lines being provided in the grooves formed on the inner surface of the container covering the regions surrounding a cathode and a discharge space therein in a substantially same distance from a center axis of the container, wherein the container further comprises a flange portion formed at the cathode-side thereof in such a way that it protrudes inwardly, and the insulation coated lines are provided on the inner surface of the container except the inner side of the flange portion. The discharge tube as constructed above shows a stabilized discharge inception characteristics regardless of the frequency of repetitive discharge, and is also capable of avoiding an inner creeping discharge even when the discharge is repeated for a long time, yet providing a constant life time.

A duct forms therein a first passageway connecting an inside air inlet 8 with a lower outlet (foot outlet) 10 for discharging an air flow toward a lower part of a passenger in a cabin, and a second passageway for connecting an outside air inlet 11 with a defroster outlet 12 for discharging an air flow toward an inside surface of a windshield. A heat exchanger(s) is (are) arranged in the duct to make contact with the flow of air in the first and second passageways so as to heat the flows of air therein. The inside air after being heated by the heat exchanger is discharged from the lower outlet 10 to the cabin, while the outside air after heating is discharged from the defroster outlet 12 toward the windshield.
