摘要: To provide a type of Reed-Solomon coding device that allows a reduction of the size and price of the device. When the coding of the Galois field GFb(2m) is performed, in the input-side transformation circuit 116b, the Galois field of the input data is transformed from GFb(2m) into GFa(2m). In RS coding/decoding core unit 112, an operation is then performed on Galois field GFa(2m) to generate the coding data. In output-side transformation circuit 119b, the coding data are transformed from GFa(2m) into GFb(2m). In RS coding/decoding core unit 112, a multiplier corresponding to Galois field GFa(2m) is set.

摘要: A transmission system is disclosed which permits the receiving end to demodulate multi-valued modulated symbols successfully under fading conditions and reduces the amount of transmitted reference data to improve data transmission efficiency. At the transmitting end, a multiplexing section, a modulating section, and a transmitting section are provided. In transmitting an OFDM transmission frame, null symbols and reference symbols are placed in the beginning portion of the frame and QPSK symbols are placed in an information symbol data region in the frame with equal spacings in time and frequency. At the receiving end, a receiving section, a demodulation section, an equalizing section, and a demultiplexing section are provided. An error detector detects amplitude and phase errors of each carrier from the reference symbols, and a variation detector detects variations in the amplitude and phase of a received signal from the QPSK symbols. The carrier amplitude and phase errors are corrected by a correction information producing section on the amplitude and phase variations of the received signal detected by the variation detector to produce correction information. The equalizing section equalizes the demodulated symbol data according to the correction information.

摘要: The objective of this invention is to provide a type of data processing device and a type of data recording/reproduction device that can restart data write processing correctly from an interruption position after data write processing on a recording medium is interrupted. When write is interrupted, prescribed information that indicates the tail of the data written before said interruption is obtained from the written data. When write is restarted, first, data read processing is started. From the read data, the tail of the write data before said interruption is determined based on said obtained information. Then, data write processing is restarted and connected to said determined tail of the write data. In write clock signal generating part (45), write clock signal CK3 locked to the phase of read clock signal CK2 is generated. Consequently, it is possible to suppress discontinuity in the connection of write in company with switching from read processing to write processing.

摘要: The invention provides a ball screw apparatus which suppresses abrasion and damage by competition of balls, controls spaces between retaining pieces and balls, and prevents retaining pieces from falling, thereby enabling to more improve operating ability. The retaining pieces are positioned between the balls running in a ball rolling path, such that a sum total of the spaces between the retaining pieces and the balls is 50% or less of an outer diameter size of the retaining piece, and at the same time a contact angle between the retaining piece and the ball is 25° or above to 40° or below.

摘要: In a wheel-support rolling bearing unit, in order to made a flange 6 thinner and thus lighten the bearing unit without impairing fatigue strength, machinability, and workability after forging, the composition of the alloy steel constituting the flange attached member (hub ring 2), the surface hardness of the root portion 14 on the axial outside surface side of the flange 6, and the surface roughness, are stipulated to thereby improve the durability ratio (fatigue limit strength/tensile strength) of the flange 6. In one aspect, the member is made from an alloy steel containing C: 0.5 to 0.65 weight %, Mn: 0.3 to 1.5 weight %, Si: 0.1 to 1.0 weight %, Cr: 0.01 to 0.5 weight %, S: 0.35 weight % or less, and any one type or more selected from 0.01 to 0.2 weight % of V, 0.01 to 0.15 weight % of Nb, and 0.01 to 0.15 weight % of Ti, with the rest being Fe and inevitable impurities, and the oxygen contents is 15 ppm or less. Moreover, the surface hardness of the inner raceway 7a formed with the hardened layer, is between Hv 650 and 780, and the surface hardness of a portion not formed with the hardened layer is between Hv 230 and 300.
