摘要: An inlet valve includes a valve head including a valve surface located at a circumferential edge portion, and a single annular circumferential edge groove disposed radially inside and close to the valve surface in the circumferential edge portion. When intake air (an airflow) proceeds along a surface of the valve head and reaches the circumferential edge portion, only a portion thereof (a partial airflow) enters the circumferential edge groove and the remaining thereof (remaining partial airflow) passes by the circumferential edge groove. As the intake air (the partial airflow) having entered the circumferential edge groove forms a turbulent flow, the intake air surrounds the circumferential edge portion of the valve head and reaches below the circumferential edge portion of the valve head, thereby achieving an increase in volume of air taken into a combustion chamber. Further, because only a portion of intake air enters the circumferential edge groove, it is possible to suppress and minimize flow resistance applied to air taken into the combustion chamber from an inlet port.

摘要: A gore as a portion of a continuous elongated knitted fabric in a wale direction like a flared skirt is used. A knitted fabric formed by connecting a plurality of the gores in a course direction is designed. At the time of designing a pattern spread over a plurality of gores, the pattern is designed on the outer shape image as a composite image of the gores, and the design is divided into gores. At the time of assigning the pattern to the gores, it is checked whether any narrowing course is present in the pattern. If any narrowing course is present, on the upper side of the narrowing course, the left and right borders of the pattern are shifted toward the center of the knitted fabric, by the amount corresponding to the number of narrowing stitches from the center of the knitted fabric or the like.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of exchanging die sets in a press system. First, a state is established in which a die set having been used by the press system is held with a die holder means provided to a slide of the press system and is lifted up by the said slide. In this state, into an interior of the press system a carrier vehicle is transported having a first space in which a die set to be used next by the press system having been and a second space capable of accepting the said used die set, which is then dislodged from the said slide and is mounted on the carrier vehicle. Thereafter, the carrier vehicle is displaced to such a place that the said die set to be used next may be kept located below the said slide. Then, a state is established in which the said die set to be used next is held by the die holder means and is lifted up by the said slide. Thereafter, out of the interior of the press system, the said carrier vehicle is transported having the said used die set mounted thereon. Then, the final step of the method resides in lowering the said slide, and securing a lower die and an upper die of the said die set to be used next, upon a bed of the said press system and to a lower surface of the said slide thereof, respectively.

摘要: This invention aims at reducing the vibration occurring during a motion of a vacuum transfer apparatus in a transfer press, and preventing the misfeeding of a workpiece. To achieve this object, accelerometers (30, 32) are set on one of lift bars (1) and a crossbar (21) laid laterally on a crossbar carrier (20) on each of right and left lift bars (1), and they are connected to a controller (34) through integrators (31, 33). An actuator (10) is provided on a drive rod (8) via which a lift lever (7) and a lift box (3) are connected together, and a hydraulic servo-valve (11) and the controller (34) are connected to each other through a servo-amplifier (35). The controller (34) is adapted to determine, moment by moment, a control input into the actuator (10) on the basis of measurement amounts of vibration from the accelerometers (30, 32) and the dynamic characteristics of the crossbar (21), and to operate the actuator (10) every time the control input is determined, whereby the vibration of a transfer apparatus is reduced.

摘要: A contact structure for connecting a semiconductor device to a wiring electrode includes a semiconductor layer forming a part of the semiconductor device. A first contact layer of reduced resistivity covers a surface of the semiconductor layer. An insulating structure is provided on the first contact layer so as to bury the first contact layer underneath. A penetrating hole is opened through the insulating structure so as to expose a part of the first contact layer. A second contact layer of reduced resistivity is provided on the part of the first contact layer exposed by the penetrating hole. The second contact layer extends from a bottom of the penetrating hole along its side wall. A conductor layer forms the wiring electrode on the second contact layer.

摘要: In apparatus for transferring articles through a series of processing stations, a multistroke feed mechanism is operatively connected to a feed member which reciprocates for causing the transfer of the articles. The multistroke feed mechanism comprises a set of disc cams having lobes of different radii and splined to a camshaft for joint rotation therewith and sliding motion in its axial direction. A cam follower lever is arranged for abutment against any selected one of the disc cams thereby to be oscillated through a corresponding angle. For causing the axial sliding motion of the disc cams over the camshaft, a sleeve is fitted over the camshaft and secured to the cams for axial motion therewith. Formed between the camshaft and the sleeve are a pair of opposed fluid chambers for moving the sleeve to any desired position where a selected one of the disc cams is engaged by the cam follower lever. A linkage connects this lever to the feed member so as to translate the oscillation of the lever, through the angle determined by the selected cam, into the reciprocation of the feed member over a corresponding distance.
