摘要: In a drive system, a first differential mechanism transmits engine rotation, a second differential mechanism connects the first differential mechanism with drive wheels, and a switching device changes a speed ratio of the first differential mechanism. The second differential mechanism has first, second, and third rotational elements, which connect respectively to the first differential mechanism, a first rotating machine, and a second rotating machine. In a first running condition, the vehicle runs using the second rotating machine as a power source, while differentially operating the first differential mechanism. In a second running condition, the vehicle runs using the second rotating machine as a power source, without differentially operating the first differential mechanism. A region in which the vehicle runs in the second running condition in the case where the engine cannot start by itself is larger than that in the case where the engine can start by itself.

摘要: A vehicle having mounted thereon a differential device including a sun gear, a ring gear and a carrier, a first motor generator coupled to the sun gear, a second motor generator coupled to the ring gear, an automatic transmission provided between the ring gear and a drive wheel, an engine coupled to the carrier, and a brake suppressing the rotation of the carrier. The vehicle has a traveling mode that is selected from a first mode in which traveling is performed by using a torque outputted from the first and second motor generators in a state where the brake is engaged, and a second mode in which the traveling is performed by operating the engine in a state where the brake is disengaged.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle driving device includes: an engine; a rotation machine; and a transmission unit configured to connect and disconnect the engine and the rotation machine, wherein when the engine is stopped while a vehicle travels by using the engine as a power source, the engine is stopped by the rotation machine in a state in which the gear stage of the transmission unit is fixed, and then the transmission unit is set to a neutral state after the engine is stopped. It is desirable that the hybrid vehicle driving device stop the engine by the rotation machine in a state in which the corresponding relation between a rotation angle of the engine and a rotation angle of the rotation machine is already learned.

摘要: A power transmission apparatus is provided with a control device for starting each of first shift control, which is control associated with shifting of a stepless transmission unit, and second shift control, which is control associated with shifting of a stepped transmission unit, such that shift end timing of the stepless transmission unit is synchronized with shift end timing of the stepped transmission unit, in a condition that shift requests for the stepless transmission unit and the stepped transmission unit are detected in the same timing. According to the power transmitting apparatus, each of the first shift control and the second shift control is started such that the shift end timing of the stepless transmission unit is synchronized with the shift end timing of the stepped transmission unit.

摘要: In a control device for a vehicular power transmitting device, if engine torque TE generated with using a fuel other than a basic fuel by an internal combustion engine (8) connected to a shifting mechanism (10) for power transmitting capability, exceeds torque TES generated with using a basic fuel, a downshift is initiated at a lower accel-opening than that at which the downshift is initiated with using the basic fuel. That is, the shifting is performed at a shift point enabling the suppression of a torque increase in consideration of an increase in engine torque TE generated by the internal combustion engine, thereby preventing rotary elements of the shifting mechanism (10) from reaching high-speed rotations during a transition in downshift. This minimizes a drop in durability of the shifting mechanism (10).
