    摘要: Rolls of toilet paper are produced by winding a paper web around each of a plurality of air permeable cylindrical cores each having a fixed, outer diameter while applying a liquid to only a leading portion of each web so that wound webs each having a wet inner portion are formed. After drying the wound webs to integrally bind the inner portion, the core is separated from each of the wound webs. The above method is carried out using an apparatus including a winding device having a shaft to which the cylindrical cores are detachably fitted in a row, a drive device for rotating the cores supported by the shaft and to wind a paper web around each of the cores, an applying device for wetting only a leading portion of each to form a wet inner portion, a releasing device for releasing the wound web-bearing cores from the shaft to obtain arrays of the released, wound web-bearing cores, a drying device for drying the wet inner portion of each wound web, and a separating device for separating the wound webs from the cores.

    摘要: A polyester film having on at least one side, a primer layer comprising a crosslinked product between (a) a polyurethane having (0.22-33).times.10.sup.-4 gram equivalent/gram of resin, of at least one functional group selected from a carboxyl group and a salt group derived therefrom and (b) a polyepoxy compound, said crosslinked product containing (c) an antistatic agent composed mainly of a compound represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group of 4-20 carbon atoms, and M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 each represent an alkali metal ion, an ammonium group or a tertiary amino group, as well as a process for producing said film. The film is useful as a base material for highly processed polyester film products such as magnetic tape, floppy disc, X-ray photographic film, telephone card, OHP, base for printing plate and the like.

    摘要: Multi-layered hollow coil and apparatus and method of manufacturing thereof disclosed which includes a first regularly wound first portion of a coil due to a wire from a wire source by rotation of a coil metrix on a rotatable axle and subsequently spirally wound second portion due to a wire accumulated on a winding roller by reverse rotation of the coil matrix which is disposed between two flanges. In the first wound portion of multi-layers, layers in odd numbers are wound N times and other layers in even numbers are wound N-1 times, and the layers excepted a first layers are wound between crests of windings of the lower layer. The first wound portion is pressed between the flanges by a movable flange thereof and electrically melt. After united the first wound portion, the coil matrix is reversely rotated and the second wound portion is spirally wound adjacent to a side surface of the first wound portion, and both portions are pressed by the flanges and melt with one body of the coil which is removed from the coil matrix.

    摘要: A support convenient for preparing a printing plate in situ using a liquid photosensitive resin of an unsaturated polyurethane resin is disclosed. This support consists of a base plate and coated thereon a layer of a composition consisting of a mercapto-containing ester obtained by polycondensing a thiocarboxylic acid or thioalcohol with a polyglycol or polycarboxylic acid or an aromatic tertiary amine and a polymer binder. The support of this invention, which has a broadened base of a sectionally trapezoidal configuration, provides a relief image that is firmly adhered to the support.
