摘要: Substantially thermally sealed containers including flexible connectors joining an aperture in the exterior of the container to an aperture in a substantially thermally sealed storage region within the container are described. The flexible connectors include a duct forming an elongated thermal pathway between the exterior of the container and the substantially thermally sealed storage region within the container. The flexible connectors include compression units mated to each end of the duct and a plurality of compression strands connected between the compression units.

摘要: A vehicle collision detection system may be configured to coordinate with collision detection systems of other vehicles. The coordination may comprise sharing sensor data with other vehicles, receiving sensor information from other vehicles, using sensor information to generate a collision detection model, sharing the collision detection model with other vehicles, receiving a collision detection model from other vehicles, and the like. In some embodiments, vehicles may coordinate sensor operation to form a bistatic and/or multistatic sensor configuration, in which a detection signal generated at a first land vehicle is detected at a sensing system at a second land vehicle.

摘要: A monitoring service is configured to receive monitoring data from one or more collision detection systems. The monitoring data may comprise collision detection information, such as a collision detection model, sensor data, data pertaining to potential collisions, data pertaining to collisions, vehicle identifier(s), and so on. The monitoring service may extract and/or derive indexing criteria from the monitoring data, and may store and/or index the monitoring data on a persistent storage. An entity may request monitoring data pertaining to a specified time, location, and/or vehicle. The monitoring service may respond to the request by identifying monitoring data that conforms with the request, and providing the identified monitoring data to the requesting entity. The monitoring service may issue collision notifications to emergency service entities and/or may provide collision alerts to vehicles in the vicinity of a collision.

摘要: An apparatus for removing harmonic noise from a power transmission line transmitting electricity at a primary frequency includes a filter and a controller coupled to the sensor and to an actuator-generator. The filter separates electricity at a harmonic of a primary frequency from the electrical signal transmitted by the power transmission line. The controller is configured to modulate consumption of electricity from the power transmission line. The consumption is controlled by electrical actuation of the actuator-generator, such that the electrical actuation of the actuator-generator causes consumption of electricity from the power transmission line at a harmonic of the primary frequency. The actuator-generator is coupled to an elastically deformable component, such that electrical actuation of the actuator-generator generates tension in the elastically deformable component.

摘要: A method of sterilizing a liquid food product includes flowing a food product to be sterilized through an input channel. The method also includes flowing the liquid food product through a heating channel that is fluidly coupled to the input channel. Further, the method includes flowing the food product through an output channel fluidly coupled to the heating channel. The output channel is adjacent the input channel, and the output channel, the input channel, and the heating channel are all integrated portions of a heat exchanger. Further still, the method includes transferring heat between the output channel and the input channel.

摘要: A food product sterilizer includes a food product source and a regenerative heat exchanger configured to receive a flow of food product from the food product source. The heat exchanger includes an input channel configured to receive a flow of food product to be sterilized. The heat exchanger also includes an output channel fluidly coupled to the input channel. The output channel is adjacent the input channel. The output channel and the input channel are configured to transfer heat between the two channels. The heat exchanger further includes an integrated heating section of at least a portion of the input channel or the output channel. The heating section is configured to heat the flow of food product.
