    摘要： A binding unit binds sheets with a binder having an electric heater and electrodes for supplying electric current to the electric heater. The binding unit includes a container and an inner lid. The container has an insertion opening at one end through which the binder is inserted, and electrode terminals at the opposite end which come into contact with the electrodes of the binder. The inner lid is openable and provided in the container between the insertion opening and the electrode terminals. It assumes a closed position covering the electrode terminals when no binder is loaded in the container, and an open position allowing the electrodes of the binder to come into contact with the electrode terminals and at the same time supporting one side of the binder when loaded in the container. Consequently, when no binding operation is underway, the inner lid serves to prevent foreign material from dropping down onto the electrode terminals; and, when a binding operation is carried out, the binder is stably positioned in the container by the support of the inner lid, ensuring that the electrodes of the binder are securely in contact with the electrode terminals.

    摘要： Pneumatic tires are disclosed, which each comprise a pair of beads, a toroidal carcass composed of at least one carcass ply which extends between the beads and is composed of cords arranged substantially in a radial direction of the tire, a belt layer superimposed radially outside a crown portion of the carcass, a tread arranged radially outside of the belt layer to cover the belt layer, and an auxiliary layer which is arranged between the tread and the belt layer to cover the whole belt layer and is composed of an organic fiber cord arranged substantially in parallel with the tire circumferential direction. The tread is constituted by a tread central portion containing a tire equatorial plane, a pair of tread side edge portions covering the side edges of the belt layer, and a pair of tread intermediate portions between the tread central portion and the tread side edge portions. The auxiliary layer comprises a plurality of plies at at least widthwise opposite side edge portions, and is constituted by a continuous cord member comprising at least one rubberized cord which is spirally wound in the tire circumferential direction. The opposite ends of the cord member of the auxiliary layer are located radially inside the tread intermediate portion or portions of the tread.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a center pillar designed for a vehicle. According to the invention, an anchor rail, supporting a seat belt anchor in a vertically movable manner, is fixedly provided on a center pillar of a vehicle. A reinforcing frame, containing the anchor rail therein, is fixedly mounted on an inner panel of the center pillar to which the anchor rail is attached. The reinforcing frame has a window facing the anchor rail. In another embodiment, the anchor rail is attached to a rail bracket. The rail bracket is fixedly mounted within the inner panel of the center pillar. A window in the interior side surface of the inner panel faces the anchor rail. In this embodiment, the center pillar is reinforced by the rail bracket.
