    Abstract: A bearing device includes: a journal part, a main bearing, a cylinder block, and a bearing cap. One half bearing held by the cylinder block includes: a first circumferential oil groove and a second circumferential oil groove being formed at positions opposite to an inlet of an oil passage of the journal part; a separation part separating the first circumferential oil groove and the second circumferential oil groove; and a first oil hole and a second oil hole respectively penetrating from the first circumferential oil groove and the second circumferential oil groove to an outer circumferential surface. The cylinder block includes an oil distribution passage which is formed so as to extend across both the first oil hole and the second oil hole of the one half bearing.

    Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided a connecting rod bearing constituted by a half bearing, which has a main cylindrical portion, crush reliefs and a transitional region. The crush relief is formed so that a depth from a virtual inner circumferential surface at a position of an end surface of the half bearing in a circumferential direction is larger than a depth from the virtual inner circumferential surface at a position where the crush relief connects with the transitional region. Further, a plurality of circumferential grooves are provided in the main cylindrical portion to continuously extend in the circumferential direction throughout an entire length of the main cylindrical portion in the circumferential direction, and are continuously provided also in the transitional region.

    Abstract: In this sliding bearing, which is provided with a resin coating layer at the surface of a bearing alloy layer layered at a back metal layer, a PAI that degrades with difficulty at high temperatures is used as the main component as the resin binder of the resin coating layer, adjustment particles are included in the resin binder, and as a result, the compressive strength of the resin coating layer is increased, and indentations of the resin coating layer resulting from a shaft are prevented. Meanwhile, a plate solid lubricant is included in the resin binder, and thus sliding characteristics are improved. Also, delamination due to cracks is prevented by the effect of adjusting the orientation of the solid lubricant and the damming effect of the adjustment particles, and thus superior anti-seizure property is provided even in an engine that frequently repeats starting and stopping.

    Abstract: A main bearing for a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine comprises a pair of semi-cylindrical bearings. An oil groove extends on an inner circumferential surface of one semi-cylindrical bearing in a circumferential direction so that the center thereof in an axial direction aligns with that of an inlet opening of a lubricating oil path in a journal section of the crankshaft. The oil groove does not extend up to an axial direction groove formed at a joint portion of the semi-cylindrical bearings so that a separation inner circumferential surface extends between a circumferential direction end portion of the oil groove and the axial direction groove. The length of the separation inner circumferential surface is smaller than that of the inlet opening in the circumferential direction.

    Abstract: A sliding resin composition is provided which rapidly forms a transfer adhesion film of PTFE on the surface of a counter member at the initial stage of sliding. That is, in the case of using resin composition 1 which is in such a state that particles of PTFE 3 having PTFE film forming agent 4 embedded are dispersed in synthetic resin 2, when the surface of particles of PTFE 3 on the sliding surface of resin composition 1 contacts with the surface of an associated shaft, the PTFE film forming agent 4 is also present at the contact portion, whereby transfer adhesion of PTFE 3 to the surface of the associated shaft is accelerated and thus the time required for decrease of coefficient of friction can be shortened.
