摘要: A catalyst system and a process for methanol to light olefin conversion with enhanced selectivity towards propylene. The catalyst system comprises a honeycomb monolith catalyst support coated with aluminosilicate nanozeolite catalysts on the edges and inside the channels of the support structure. The aluminosilicate nanozeolite catalysts have not been pre-modified with a promoter metal. The catalyst system gives higher hydrothermal stability to the catalyst compared to randomly packed pellet catalysts and allows methanol to be converted to predominantly propylene at a low temperature, with decreased selectivity towards C2, higher olefins and paraffinic hydrocarbons.

摘要: A process for oxygenate conversion using a family of crystalline aluminosilicate zeolites that is a layered pentasil zeolite with a silica or fluorine modified surface. These zeolites are represented by the empirical formula: Mmn+Rrp+Al1-xExSiyOz where M is an alkali, alkaline earth, or rare earth metal such as sodium or potassium, R can be a mixture of organoammonium cations and E is a framework element such as gallium, iron, boron, or indium. These zeolites are characterized by unique x-ray diffraction patterns and compositions and have catalytic properties for carrying out oxygenate conversion processes.

摘要: A Fischer-Tropsch catalyst, useful for conversion of synthesis gas to olefins, is prepared from a catalyst precursor composition including iron oxide and an alkali metal on a substantially inert support, and then treated by a process including as ordered steps (1) reduction in a hydrogen-containing atmosphere at a pressure of 0.1 to 1 M Pa and a temperature from 280° C. to 450° C.; (2) carburization in a carbon monoxide-containing atmosphere at a pressure from 0.1 to 1 M Pa and a temperature from 200° C. to less than 340° C.; and (3) conditioning in a hydrogen- and carbon monoxide-containing atmosphere at a pressure from 0.1 to 2 MPa and a temperature from 280° C. to 340° C. The resulting catalyst exhibits at least one improvement selected from (1) increased overall activity; (2) reduced break-in time; (3) slowed rate of deactivation; and (4) increased time to onset of deactivation; when compared to an otherwise identical catalyst precursor composition treated by one or some, but not all, of the given steps and/or under different conditions.
