In at least one example, the pod spike may include an outer tube and an inner tube. In one or more examples, the pod spike of the device may include a hub, where a first end of the outer tube is coupled to the hub. Further, in some examples, a first end of the inner tube may also be coupled to the hub.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for preparing a gelatin-based product. In one example, a device for preparing the gelatin-based product includes a mixing chamber for mixing a gelatin based powder with one or more liquids to form a liquid gelatin mixture, a chilling module for cooling the mixture, and a dispensing system for serving the hardened mixture. In some examples, the device may include a first mixing chamber for mixing the gelatin based powder with heated water to form a first liquid mixture, a second mixing chamber for mixing the first liquid mixture with an alcoholic beverage to form a second liquid mixture, a first chilling module for cooling the second liquid mixture prior to dispensing the second liquid mixture, and a second cooling module for hardening the second liquid mixture after it has been dispensed into one or more serving cups.

摘要: The present invention relates to a beverage dispenser for dispensing a gelatinous beverage. The present invention also relates to a gelatinous beverage for use in a beverage dispenser, and more specifically an alcoholic gelatinous beverage. The beverage dispenser comprises a housing and a gelatinous beverage contained within the housing, the housing being configured for movement between a closed configuration in which the gelatinous beverage is sealed within the housing and an open configuration in which the gelatinous beverage may be dispensed from the housing. The gelatinous beverage may comprise at least one alcoholic ingredient, at least one gelling agent, at least one acidity regulator, at least one preservative and at least one dilutant.

摘要: A stable dispersion and a process of preparing a stable dispersion of one or more sterols in an aqueous solution are disclosed. An oil component is used as a carrier and is mixed with the one or more sterols in suspension to facilitate dispersion of the sterol in the aqueous solution. The aqueous solution may be an alcoholic solution. Freezing the stable dispersion of one or more sterols in the aqueous solution provides for a ready-to-pour frozen slush beverage.

摘要: A method of making a frozen instant beverage product, is carried out by (a) providing a chilled solution, the chilled solution comprising water and a freezing point depressant; (b) mixing the chilled solution with solid particles (e.g., ice particles and flavor particles) to produce a mixture thereof, the mixing step carried out at a temperature at which the frozen ice particles do not melt in the chilled solution; and then (c) forming the paste into the frozen instant beverage product. The frozen instant beverage product can be stored in frozen form for subsequent use, at which time it is combined with one or more beverages to produced a semi-frozen beverage for consumption.

摘要: An encapsulated alcohol bead, and methods for producing and using the same, comprising a droplet of alcohol coated by a water-insoluble, alginate-based gel. The alginate-based coating comprises a plurality of pores having a diameter sufficient to allow the alcohol contained within each encapsulated alcohol bead to leach therethrough when the encapsulated alcohol bead is placed within a solution. Various dry mix products may include the encapsulated alcohol beads, such that the resultant products produced therefrom do not require a user to independently add alcohol thereto, and contain a sufficient amount of alcohol and/or alcohol flavor.
