摘要: A toroidal continuously-variable transmission shift control apparatus includes a controlling section to control an actual transmission ratio toward a target transmission ratio by producing a control command in one of a forward traveling control mode for a forward vehicle traveling state, and a reverse traveling control mode; and a control modifying section arranged to select one of the forward traveling control mode and the reverse traveling control mode in accordance with a first parameter representing a driver's intention. The control modifying section is configured to detect a change of the vehicle traveling direction in accordance with a second parameter which is the actual transmission ratio, and to modify the shift control of the toroidal continuously-variable transmission so as to shift the actual transmission ratio to a speed decreasing side upon detection of the change of the vehicle traveling direction.

摘要: An electric vehicle includes a shift lever and a clutch pedal for simulating manual gear changes of a traditional vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine and manual transmission, and includes a controller for controlling the operation of the electric vehicle. The driver operates the shift lever in a similar fashion to that of a traditional manual transmission shift lever, however the associated gear positions do not correspond to physical gears in a transmission but rather virtual gear stage modes that correspond to mapped torque characteristics with respect to the rotational speed of the electric motor. The clutch pedal is operated by the driver when the shift lever is operated. The controller calculates the virtual engine speed of the virtual engine based on the virtual gear stage mode selected by the shift lever and the operation amount of the clutch pedal, and displays the virtual engine speed on a display.

摘要: An electronic continuously variable transmission (ECVT) system applicable to a motorcycle includes a first speed sensor, second speed sensor, continuously variable transmission (CVT) and control unit. The control unit receives a user control signal and accordingly controls a speed-changing state of the CVT. While the motorcycle is operating in a manual-operation mode, the control unit predicts, according to the user control signal, a first speed signal sent from the first speed sensor, and a second speed signal sent from the second speed sensor, whether the next gear indicated by the shift request signal will cause the motorcycle to move unsteadily. If so, the control unit ignores the shift request signal and refuses to perform gear shifting. If not, the control unit sends at least a shift control signal to the CVT so that the CVT performs gear shifting.

摘要: A vehicle includes an engine, dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and controller. The controller executes a method to control a requested change-of-mind shift of the DCT to a second desired gear state. The requested shift is initiated after a prior-requested but not yet fully-executed shift of the DCT to a first desired gear state. The controller detects the requested shift, identifies the second desired gear state, and aborts the prior-requested shift immediately upon identifying the second desired gear state. The controller also shifts the DCT to the second desired gear state using a calibrated shift profile corresponding to the detected shift. The calibrated shift profile describes required oncoming and offgoing clutch torques needed for achieving the second desired gear state. Engine speed control may be used to synchronize engine and input shaft speeds.

摘要: A vehicle includes an engine, a dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and a controller. The controller executes instructions embodying a method to control a requested change-of-mind shift of the DCT to a second desired gear state. The requested change-of-mind shift is initiated after a prior-requested but not yet fully-executed shift of the DCT to a first desired gear state. Execution of the instructions causes the controller to detect the requested change-of-mind shift, identify the second desired gear state, and abort the prior-requested shift to the first desired gear state immediately upon identifying the second desired gear state. The controller also shifts the DCT to the second desired gear state using a calibrated shift profile corresponding to the detected change-of-mind shift. The calibrated shift profile describes required oncoming and offgoing clutch torques needed for achieving the second desired gear state. Engine speed control may be used to synchronize engine and input shaft speeds.

摘要: A control apparatus for an automatic transmission includes a stepwise variable transmission mechanism; a power ON/OFF state judging section; and a shift control section configured to control the stepwise variable transmission mechanism to a target rotational speed by disengaging the first engagement portion and engaging the second engagement portion in accordance with a torque inputted to the stepwise variable transmission mechanism, the shift control section being configured to engage one of the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion which has a function to suppress a variation of an input rotational speed of the stepwise variable transmission mechanism which is generated by a switching of the power ON/OFF state when the power ON/OFF state is switched at the shift control of the stepwise variable transmission mechanism, and to disengage the other of the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion.

摘要: A method of operating of a drivetrain, having at least a drive motor and an automatic transmission with at least five shift elements, to improve a shift speed such that during a first upshift or a first downshift, at least one required shift element is prepared such that, when a synchronization point is reached, the successive upshift or the successive downshift can be immediately carried out. The method comprises the steps of requiring, at most, two of the at least five shift elements be disengaged and a remainder of the shift elements be disengaged for each gear for transferring one of torque and force; and one of increasing and decreasing a torque of the drive motor, relative to a torque of the drive motor derived from a driver's wish, during one of the first upshift or downshift and the successive upshift or downshift to assist with an overlapped implementation of the successive upshifts or the successive downshifts.

摘要: A method for operation of a drivetrain including a drive motor and an automatic transmission having at least five shift elements, of which, at least two elements are disengaged in each forward and reverse gear and the other shift elements are engaged. Two successive shifts are accomplished by two overlapped single gear shifts such that: a) during the first shift, a first shift element is engaged or disengaged while a second shift element is disengaged or engaged; b) during the first shift, second and third shift elements are prepared for either engagement or disengagement; and c) during the first and the second shifts at least one fourth shift element is kept engaged or nearly engaged.

摘要: An improved control for an automatically shiftable transmission upshift, wherein the engine output torque and on-coming clutch pressure are coordinated during the shift based on an inverse dynamic model of the transmission to achieve a desired output torque trajectory. At the initiation of an upshift, the engine torque is commanded to decrease in a ramp-like or sloping fashion to and engine output torque value calculated using the dynamic model. This ramp-like or sloping decrease provides smooth shifting, while reducing the likelihood of tie-up between on-coming and off-going clutches within the automatically shiftable transmission.
