摘要: A portable handheld wireless breath alcohol monitoring device (RBAM) utilizes facial recognition from an enrollment image or gallery of images accumulated over time, and automatic retesting if an initial test is positive for alcohol or of an initial facial match is negative. A location fix is captured with each breath test taken by an offender. After each breath test, the breath alcohol content (BrAC), date and time of the breath test, facial image data, and location fix are uploaded through a built-in cellular phone module in the RBAM to a monitoring station. The monitoring station evaluates each breath test and determines if immediate notification to a supervising agency is needed. If so, an email, text message, or page is sent to the supervising agency. RBAM enables the monitoring of lower-risk offenders or offenders who have earned the privilege of a less intrusive alcohol testing and monitoring program.

At least a portion of the received plurality of air data corresponding to at least one zone within the data center may be determined to satisfy a threshold. Coordinates of a geographical location associated with the zone that includes the sensor may be transmitted to a robotic filter. The robotic filter can be dispatched to the transmitted geographic location to filter the zone.

摘要: A gas detector includes environmental condition detection circuitry that includes one or more sensors, data processing circuitry, and wireless communication circuitry. The gas detector is configured to be carried by a user. The environmental condition detection circuitry detects the presence or lack of presence of a particular gas in a vicinity of the gas detector and further detects a temperature in the vicinity of the gas detector and communicates detection data to the data processing circuitry. In response to detection of a hazardous temperature condition, the data processing circuitry of the gas detector provides an alert notification to the user carrying the gas detector. Also disclosed is an alert system including multiple gas detectors in which a first gas detector communicates an alert to a second gas detector via wireless communication, and in response, the second gas detector transmits the alert to another gas detector or device via wireless communication.

A system includes an radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag composed of a patterned metal. The patterned metal is configured to absorb a volatile chemical. The RFID tag includes a non-volatile memory configured to store identification data. The RFID tag also includes a receiver that receives a signal at a frequency in a frequency range. The frequency is based upon an amount of the volatile chemical absorbed in the patterned metal. A transmitter of the RFID tag transmits the identification data in response to receiving the signal. The strength of the transmitted identification data is based upon an amount of the absorbed volatile chemical.

A method for monitoring gas emissions may include providing a gas-monitoring device configured to be moved within the geographic area. The method may also include determining geographic locations of the device as the device is moved within the geographic area, determining a quantity of one or more gases in the air as the device is moved within the geographic area, and associating the geographic locations with the quantity of gases to provide gas emissions data for the geographic area. The gas emissions data may be communicated to one or more external devices, sources, and/or systems for analysis, documentation, and/or compliance reporting.

The memory may store layout information for a work area which includes architectural and infrastructure attributes. The processor may determine a number of access points to position in the work area. The processor may determine a placement of a tag in the work area based on readings gathered by the access points. The processor may further determine a level of accuracy for a location of the tag within the work area. The processor may provide a graphical representation of the positioning of the access points in the work area, as well as an indication of the accuracy of the tag within the work area.
