摘要: Described is a method for preparing a NOx storage-reduction catalyst article that includes a ruthenium composite as an active ingredient, and an exhaust treatment system including same. Proposed is a stable preparation method or an on-site simultaneous preparation method which is simplified as well as capable of preparing an NSR article exhibiting an equal level of activity, the method in which the NSR article is prepared by preliminarily preparing a heat-resistant ruthenium composition, mixing the same with de-NOxing components and applying same on a carrier.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a methane oxidation catalyst and methane oxidation catalysts formed by the method are provided. The method includes providing a palladium (Pd)-based catalyst including Pd dispersed onto a support. A magnesium (Mg) precursor is introduced to the Pd-based catalyst by one of ion exchange or incipient wetness impregnation. After introducing the magnesium precursor to the Pd-based catalyst, the catalyst is dried and subjected to a final heat treatment that includes hydrothermal calcination. A method of methane oxidation in a lean exhaust environment via the methane oxidation catalyst is also provided.

Fabricating a nanocomposite catalyst includes forming nanoscale metal oxide clusters including a first metal on a support, and depositing one or more metal atoms including a second metal on the nanoscale metal oxide clusters. The nanocomposite catalyst is suitable for catalyzing reactions such as CO oxidation, water-gas-shift, reforming of CO2 and methanol, and oxidation of natural gas.

The method for converting a CO2 gas stream comprising a CO2 into an ester, comprises the conversion of CO2 into a (COOH)2 preferably by passing the CO2 through a water bath to produce a carbonated water; and passing the carbonated water through a metal ion exchange bubble column comprising a M2(COO)2 to produce the (COOH)2 and a MHCO3; reacting the (COOH)2 with a mono-alcohol to obtain the ester. The invention further relates to a system for converting CO2.

摘要: A gasoline engine exhaust gas purification catalyst for purifying exhaust gas emitted from a gasoline engine includes a precious metal, alumina, and a ceria/zirconia composite oxide supported on a three-dimensional structure, and has pores having a peak 1 at a pore size of not less than 0.001 μm and not greater than 0.05 μm, pores having a peak 2 at a pore size of not less than 2.5 μm and not greater than 5.0 μm, and pores having a peak 3 at a different pore size than the above pore sizes in a pore size distribution measured by mercury intrusion method, wherein the pore volume of the pores having the peak 3 is greater than 1.4% of the total pore volume. A production method for the catalyst, and an exhaust gas purification method using the catalyst are also described.

摘要: An exhaust gas-purifying catalyst includes a catalyst-coated filter and inorganic particles in a powder form. The catalyst-coated filter includes a filter substrate and a catalyst layer on a pore wall of the filter substrate. The catalyst-coated filter has a first end portion, a second end portion, a filter wall, an entry-side cell, and an exit-side cell. The filter wall is porous. The entry-side cell is opened at the first end portion and closed at the second end portion. The exit-side cell is opened at the second end portion and closed at the first end portion. The entry-side cell and the exit-side cell are adjacent to each other with the filter wall interposed therebetween. The inorganic particles in a powder form are localized at a surface of the filter wall adjacent to the entry-side cell at a cross section parallel to the thickness direction of the filter wall.

摘要: The disclosure provides a catalyst composition that includes a catalytic material and a magnetic ferrite compound. The magnetic ferrite compound can be pretreated, for example, by heating prior to incorporation within the catalyst composition. The magnetic ferrite compound may include iron, and one or more additional metals including zinc, cobalt, nickel, yttrium, manganese, copper, barium, strontium, scandium, and lanthanum. The disclosure also includes a system and method for heating the catalyst composition, which employs a conductor for receiving current and generating an alternating magnetic field in response thereto.
