摘要: Direct thermal decomposition of hydrocarbons into solid carbon and hydrogen is performed by a process and a device. The process comprises preheating a hydrocarbon gas stream to a temperature between 500° C. and 700° C. and injecting the pre-heated hydrocarbon gas stream into the reactor pool of a liquid metal reactor containing a liquid media; forming a multi-phase flow with a hydrocarbon gas comprising hydrogen and solid carbon at a temperature between 900° C. and 1200° C.; forming a carbon layer on the free surface of the liquid media made up of solid carbon particles which are then displaced into at least one carbon extraction system and at least one recipient for collecting them; and, at the same time, the gas comprising hydrogen leaves the reactor pool through a porous rigid section, being collected at a gas outlet collector from where the gas comprising hydrogen finally leaves the liquid metal reactor.

摘要: A method of extracting essential oil from plant matter for personal use includes positioning an amount of medicinal herb in a mini oven. A heating element is at least partially covered by a metallic heat exchanger and positioned in the mini oven. The medicinal herb is pyrolysized by energizing the heating element. Vaporized essential oil from the medicinal herb is moved out of the mini oven and toward the user. Oxygen is displaced from the mini oven responsive to decarboxylation of the medicinal herb, to inhibit combustion at elevated temperatures.

摘要: A controlled decarboxylation of cannabinoids results in a high yield of decarboxylated forms of cannabinoids and also preserves the integrity of volatile components such as terpenoids and as well as fats and lipids that are present in the cannabis extract. The inventive apparatus allows the different components in the cannabis plant extract to be kept in the same reaction mixture during the decarboxylation process, while allowing the decarboxylation process to proceed without breakdown of the more volatile components of the mixture by use of a very low temperature condenser. The invention also relates to a method for controlled decarboxylation of cannabinoids using the novel apparatus.
