    摘要: Catalysts suitable for the oxidation of ammonia to nitrogen oxides which are suitable to produce nitric acid are prepared by doping cobalt oxide, preferably Co.sub.3 O.sub.4 with 0.1-10 atoms %, preferably 0.5-3 atom % of lithium. In a given case, there is added a mold assist agent to form tablets, spheres, extruded pressed strands or honeycombs. The product is calcined in air or an oxygen stream at 300.degree.-700.degree.C, preferably 400.degree.-600.degree.C and subsequently tempered at 700.degree.-900.degree.C in a reactive gas mixture of air and 8-10 vol. % ammonia to increase the form stability.

    摘要: A three-way catalyst is described for the purification of automobile exhaust gases formed of an active substance of platinum and rhodium and possibly base metal(s) at a certain weight ratio between the two noble metals and at a certain atomic ratio between the noble and the base metal, which are precipitated onto active aluminum oxide containing certain quantities of CeO.sub.2, ZrO.sub.2 and Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, and whereby the catalyst is obtained by impregnating active aluminum oxide, possibly stabilized with alkaline earth metal, with a solution of cerium, zirconium and iron salt which is thereupon calcined in air at 500.degree.-700.degree. C. and then treated after application of an impregnation of salts of the active substance components in a gas current containing hydrogen at temperatures below 650.degree. C.

    摘要: A process for the production of .beta.-lithium aluminate LiAlO.sub.2, is disclosed wherein a lithium hydroxide aluminate of the formula: Li.sub.2 O . Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 . nH.sub.2 O is precipitated from aqueous solutions which contain the lithium ions and aluminum in ionogenic or elementary form at a pH value above 7. The concentration of the two metal components is at least 0.1, at most 6 g-atoms per liter, preferably 2 to 5 g-atoms per liter. The precipitation product is washed and dried and then is converted by annealing into .beta.-lithium aluminate, in the temperature range between 200.degree. C. and 800.degree. C., preferably 400.degree. C.-650.degree. C., and especially 450.degree. C.-550.degree. C. The .beta.-LiAlO.sub.2 obtained thereby has a lamellae-shaped or fine crystalline form which is converted into a needle-shaped, crystalline lithium aluminate, is obtained by the process of the invention and is suitable for the construction of electrolyte matrices.

    摘要: There is described the working up of a solution by electrodialysis originally prepared by the enzymatic resolution of an N-acetyl-DL-aminocarboxylic acid. The electrodialysis device used consists of a plurality of three-chamber packets, each of which comprises a feed and diluent chamber (1), a (basic) concentrate chamber (2) located on its cathode side and an (acidic) concentrate chamber (3) located on its anode side, whereby each three-chamber packet is separated from each of the two adjacent ones by a device (4) in which water is decomposed into OH.sup.- ions and H.sup.+ ions. The added resolution solution is separated by this device into three solutions, the first of which contains the L-amino acid, the second of which contains the cations present in the resolution solution as hydroxides and the third of which contains the anions present in the resolution solution as free acids.
