摘要: A radiation detection system has a linear array of radiation detectors, which are preferably ionization chambers. The detectors are connected, preferably permanently, to a multi-channel signal processor through a flexible multi-conductor shielded cable. The multi-channel signal processor is connected to a controller, such as a personal computer, through a multi-conductor cable and a communication interface device. Multiple detector arrays and multi-channel electrometers may be connected to a single personal computer and used simultaneously.

摘要: A Micro Maple Spout and Method of Use made of rigid bacteria resistant materials that is significantly smaller than the current industry standard. The small size and nature of the construction materials of the Micro Maple Spout allows the collection tubing to be slid on and off instead of being permanently attached. The concomitant smaller tap hole in the sap trees results in far less sap tree damage than current designs and further results in significantly increased production of maple sap. One embodiment of the invention allows the use of smaller and less expensive collection tubing than the current industry standard and in yet another embodiment the Micro Maple Spout may be retro-fitted to existing prior art spouts.

摘要: A handlebar adapted to be fitted onto the handles of a wheelchair having two substantially parallel handles, together with an improved push-button mechanism for locking the handlebar securely into position. The handlebar is designed with multiple ergonomically correct gripping stations which reduce strain on the hands, wrists and forearms of a person using the handlebar. Methods of retrofitting existing wheelchairs, as well as tools used in performing the retrofitting operation, are also provided.

摘要: An earth working apparatus comprising a wheeled vehicle capable of traversing the ground and a ground breaking assembly mounted on the front end of such vehicle, such ground breaking assembly comprising a cylinder mounted for movement with the vehicle and for rotation about its cylinder axis, such cylinder having teeth projecting from its cylinder surface; the ground breaking assembly also having a shield partially surrounding the cylinder and provided on its inner surface close to the cylinder with fracture boards against which large pieces of pavement, frozen earth or stone impact, thereby causing such large pieces to fragment.

摘要: Method and system for automatically adjusting a formula for producing a food product from a plurality of ingredients includes at least one sensor that measures a property of an ingredient used in the formula or an ambient condition around equipment producing the food product. A processor determines an adjusted quantity of at least one ingredient used in the formula based on the measurement by the sensor(s) and a quantity of that ingredient set forth in the formula. The adjusted quantity of this ingredient is mixed together with remaining ingredients in the formula. The sensor may be a sensor that measures temperature of the at least one ingredient, a sensor that measures moisture content of the at least one ingredient, a sensor that measures ambient temperature around the equipment, or a sensor that measures relative humidity around the equipment.
