摘要: A speech input control device for recognizing an input speech and giving a specified control instruction to a target device, which device is provided with a portion for detecting that a word inputted by voice is unregistered in a voice word dictionary, a portion for extracting a feature of the detected unregistered words and storing the extracted feature, a portion for counting the input frequency of each unregistered word and renewably storing the counted input frequency, and a portion for changing a response message in response to an unregistered word depending to its input frequency and which is capable of adaptively responding by avoiding outputting the same response message such as "The input cannot be recognized" and "Correct input is required" or the like whenever the user's meaningless word or habitual phrase is inputted thereafter.

摘要: A warning system for a vehicle has a warning device for issuing a warning when the vehicle approaches an object. A warning timing parameter section detects a driving operation by the driver of the vehicle, and calculates a reaction time from the time a warning is issued by the warning device to the time the driver starts the driving operation in response to the warning. A warning control section controls the timing at which the warning should be issued by the warning device, based on the calculated reaction time.

摘要: A wheel support structure of a motor vehicle wherein a double angular bearing 11 is constituted of an outer race 12 integrally installed in one of such members as a hub 9 on which a wheel is mounted and a knuckle 3 to which a suspension arm is installed, inner races 14a and 14b installed in the other, and double rows of balls 13a and 13b inserted between the races; and a lock nut 15 is tightened to compress the inner races 14a and 14b in an axial direction. There is formed a clearance between the inner races 14a and 14b in a no-load condition. The bearing thus constituted is provided with a large rigidity to thereby improve the steering stability of the motor vehicle.

A tier (an upper-level layer, a middle-level layer, or a lower-level layer, for example) is selected on the vehicle-use display apparatus by contact made to a contact part. Further, by making a gesture in which contact with the contact part is kept while moving the contact position, it is possible to shift through a plurality of menu options included in the selected tier and make a tentative selection. Then, when the passenger has stopped contacting the contact part, selection of the menu option that was tentatively selected at that time is finalized and an onboard device function or process corresponding to the finalized selected menu option is executed.

This enables the reflection angle of the outside mirror and the inside mirror to be remotely controlled.
